LOL typical port adelaide supporter oh i just love it when we get one back.

reminds me of the WCE supporters over here complete know it alls who actually know nothing come to think of it where's sammy gal? havent heard from her in a while hope she still reads this.........

Sing along to the tune of the Power's song

We make the other teams grin
Finals aren’t cool
Come on, Port Adelaide succession
We are the losers from Port
In finals we abort
It's true Port Adelaide tradition
We'll always flop, flop, flop
After finishing top, top, top
There's another loss here in the making
Port Power belong in the bin
We'll always give in
Cos in finals we’re always caught faking
Our tradition’s not long
We always go wrong
We're the moronic crowd
Port Adelaide howled
And the zeros are those
Who've earned the right
To wear the silver - teal
And black and white
And the Port supporters
Used to taking a fall
True imbeciles
One and all
We’ve taken golden showers again
Power to fool
Come on, Port Adelaide succession
In finals we’re caught
once again short
It's true Port Adelaide tradition
We'll always flop, flop, flop
like a mop, mop, mop
There's history here as we’re chokin’
Port Power wont win
We'll always give in
Til the flag is awarded for faking
PORT POWER!!!

Guys, I thinks he's just done a hit and mince! I heard his high heels clattering away after he did his one and only post. ;D

Perhaps we should link this thread on his site so that his mates can see what a dumbfuck he really is and how useless his attempts to have a crack at us were. ITs about that time of year for Port to show their failure.

May I ask what is the importance if a team sings their club song or not after a win..........

There was no disrespect to Captain Blood in anyway by Port not wanting to sing their song......

If it wasnt for the Media & Cameras going into the rooms after the game we would never know if they sang the song or not......

So whats the big deal......

Yes they could have wore black arm bands out of respect of Jack, but then again last year when Port lost their Club & State legend of the game Fos Williams their opposition could have shown the same respect but they didnt........

Come to think of it Richmond was their opposition on that day.......

No one gives a rats about not hearing the 2nd worst song in the AFL. It was that ignoramuses comments that "it was nothing special" etc etc that pissed people off.

Not singing that crap song may not have been a sign of disrepect, but not wearing black armbands was one of the most disrepectful guestures you could make to a Legend of the Game.

Go back to Hicksville. (no offence to you there SHAWRY)

LMAO RFC, I might do one to Trans-Richo-Express. ;D

Here's a quote from a poster on their forum in response to the song.

"Oh! What an intelectially challenged sod that probably live on there teams efforts b 4 the league got serious and let us join"

Obviously topped the class in spelling and grammar.

this is their response to your lil tune:

Here's a richmond song:

We're from Pussy Land
A pissweak team
From Pussy Land
In only sunshine
You will see us lose again
Can't keep up with the men
We're always behind
We cannot win
We'll just lose and lose again

Oh we're from Pussy Land
We never try until
the final siren's gone!

Just like the tigers of old
We're slow and we're old
Oh we're the Pussys...Old and Crap
Oh we're from Pussy Land!

I rang in 5AA today when KG and Cornesy had Warren Tredrea in the studio and asked him the question as to why Port did not wear arm bands for Jack. Got a bad reaction from Cornesy who saidit is AFL now and not VFL and most South Australians would not even know who Jack Dyer was so why would they care. A bit pathetic by him I think. KG was backi me up in a way when Cornesy was getting stuck into me by jsut stating I was asking the question not implying that it was a definite thing that should have happened. Tredders was fine , he was honest so I cant bag him he just stated that it is Port policy to only honor Port people. Cant fault the players if that is the clubs stance.

Our emails have been getting to the Port club though as Cornesy was shitty at all the Richmond supporters who had inundated Port with emails and phone calls as to why the arm bands werent worn.

The next 2 callers thought I was an idiot. The one directly after me said I should ring up our club and ask them why we dont win (real intelligent response I thought????????), and the one after that jsut didnt think it was much of an issue. Good on KG for sticking up for me though.

I am glad I called though I did want to know.l I will leave the issue now.

Good on ya shawry. Stick it up 'em across the border :) .

This "Jack Dyer passing away is only a Richmond or VFL issue" comment just shows the ignorance of people like Cornes  . Jack Dyer revolutionized the game by INVENTING the drop punt kick which has become the standard and regularly used type of kick by all players right around Australia. From descriptions from those who saw him play, he had the footy attributes of skill, pace and body strength in the 1930/40's that would still succeed in modern footy today. Dyer was ahead of his time.

I guess that's why Cornes is still a drop kick ;) ;D

Well done Shawry and well put MT. Corneflake is a goose. Talk about a great head for radio.
If it's now a national competition, wouldn't you think that would mean that the history of all clubs should be embraced and the passing of club champions should also be respected??

As mentioned earlier, It's interesting that when Fos died West Coast players wore armbands. I guess it wasn't what Corneflake would term a national cometition then. ??? ???
