Really ? I would have thought at pick #63 he would have been a certainty

I suppose we should re asses our options and see how we might get 4 1st round picks every year

Life and winning premierships is all about hope , If you want certainty - Work, Pay Taxes, and Die mate thats the only certainty in life

PRE gives some people a forum to whinge and moan about everything. It is what it is.

or Work, farm and Die. ;D

Re: Ben "MACHINE GUN" Miller - Welcome to Tigerland.

Miller and Balta are both highly athletic and agile.

They could bring some real point of difference to other sides KPP going forward.

I will be watching both of these boys keenly this year as well as CCJ and Dekka Smith.

So you post these three weird YouTube links but accuse me of living in a parallel universe? I guess it shows how you have conceded your losses on football arguments and issues no doubt, so now you're lapsing into perverse expressions of your 'old fogey' musical taste. Probably all that's left to you.

I suspect the battering your delicate ego took for being proven so wrong about 2017 may have pushed you over the top into some really weird mental territory, Chops. My sympathies but just leave me out of your weird posting IYDM. You are so bereft that you were not even able to detect the tongue-in-cheek tone of my post.

Re: Ben "MACHINE GUN" Miller - Welcome to Tigerland.

You could almost say that they seem to be Rance clones as their size, physique and athletic abilities are very similar.

Re: Ben "MACHINE GUN" Miller - Welcome to Tigerland.

Looking forward to seeing him play. The fact that he played senior footy in the Kalgoorlie league at 15 means that he'll be well prepared for bigger bodies and the rough stuff. Compare that to Jack Watt's private school pedigree.

OK Leon, Will do.

As a final reposte, I must say it was lovely to see Dimma remove the handbrake last year. All credit to him.

Future looking bright now!

One of the quickest at the club apparently..
Will watch him develop with interest.

Today is a good chance to look at Ben and Noah among others.

Yes, in the spirit of the new Tiger Golden Age that dawned in 2017, I'm happy to allow you to reboot and have a fresh start, Chops, in the comradeship of the Tiger Army. It's spelt 'riposte' (from French I think) but where would anyone be, including the likes of us, without a chance to change course and embark on a fresh pathway.

I certainly had doubts, but in the end was proud, like many on PRE, of sticking fat with Dimma and the boys; along with Benny, Peg and the club's direction in general which has been on the upside ever since they converged into the current leadership team - on and off-field.

Want to see another Tigers Dynasty over the next 4/5 years.

Impressive glimpses again from Ben in practice game against Collingwood last night. What I liked is that he was almost playing like a running half back and was involved in several links of play, at 196cm that's an exciting prospect. He has good hands, (by that I mean handballing, waits and releases at the correct moment sending his teammate into space). Have not seen those same hands in marking contests yet but assuming/hoping that will come? I remember "EX" iron fist Grimesy took a few years before he had the confidence to back himself to out mark rather than spoil making him a much more damaging player.
Bit of flexibility about Ben too, found himself matched with small forward, Kale Kirby, on several occasions and blanketed him.

See a lot more in Ben than CCJ at this early stage.

Thanks for the update caesar.
Quietly excited about this lad.
All the physical attributes for the flexible modern small tall that we jumped the comp with in 2017.
Spoke well at the recent Club80 function; presents as a mature 18yo.

It is good to be able to read an unbiased assessment of a player from a supporter like Caesar rather than a club mouthpiece. I seems as though Ben may really have the goods for a footy career. Be interesting to see further reports on his progress

Any relation Ceaser?

;D

I have liked the sight and sound of this guy from the start, just on gut instinct really. But seems to be showing promise already ... and he's still only 18!?

Mate, you know a Richmond supporter is never truly unbiased and wears rose colored glasses when assessing their players. It is only 2 practice games into his career so what you look for is just 1 or 2 pieces of play that gives you some hope that the club has stumbled onto a good one. So that's all I have seen a couple of glimpses but that is enough for now.
