Just as an aside on Carlton, can anyone name one player they have developed and has ended up a quality footballer over the last 5-7 years who wasn't a 1st round draft pick?
That's their problem. Jack Graham was drafted in the 50s by us and they offer him the world. We have another 7-10 of those guys who were late picks or rookies who are excellent players now because we develop players in an elite system.

That’s a good point and no doubt highlighted to jack that if things don’t work out in these under performing clubs things can go sour very quickly , refer crows and norf and the exodus of contracted players heading for the scrap heap
