Pick 53: Jack Graham

I know from the AFL App on game day, they list how many pressure acts a player does. Graham is consistently in the very good or elite catagories from memory.

I think this is what the club is keeping him in the side for, when we have our best 22 together. I am positive he is capable of more, but as we saw in last years preliminary final, he is an absolute professional team man. I imagine he's sacrificing disposals if it means playing his role elsewhere. People should be careful not to underate his value.

We don't play traditional football. We don't seem to care who gets what number of possessions, or even if our highest gets 20-30 of them. It's all about the machine and mowing other teams down collectively.

This. A fit graham is crucial to the way we play. no wonder port smashed us in the middle without graham and cotchin.

Graham would be a great get for Adelaide as would Cameron-Jones. COULD A DEAL be done for their 1st ?

Its difficult for any club to be making list management decisions without knowing what the list sizes are to be next year and how many players we will therefore be forced to take in the draft. Ie. will that remain at 3 (including rookie upgrades) or will they reduce that.

If list sizes are reduced (and sounds like the most likely scenario is a reduction to 40) then I'd expect several players top move for pick upgrades rather than straight picks as they won't be worth as much.

I think I heard on the radio the other day or somewhere that he was going to go around in 21 for the Crows.

Coach said he wanted him to stay on, could be just being respectful, since he's contracted for next year.

I barely remember us losing when Graham plays well because he covers all aspects of the game - when he plays well
