The boys have got something to play for this weekend with Trent and Jacks last MCG games so whoever is in the team has to give them the send off they both richly deserve
More to play for than a finals berth? I dont get the variable effort thing.

They have had something to play for last 2 weeks, FINALS !!!
Unfortunately Trent’s calf isn’t good . Interesting to see how they go getting him out onto the G

Start him as sub, and bring him on when Jack gets subbed off midway through the last after drawing level with Richo on 800 goals.

Wow.
David Cloke kicked 8 Goals in his last game.
You reckon Jack's got 14 in him?
Would love to see that, Wombat!

Hope Richo and Jack are in the media together. Richo telling Jack he kicked more goals than him AND in less games will be hilarious.

And Jack will just talk about flags.

Poor Richo. A travesty he never enjoyed any team success.

Don't want to tempt fate but North have quite a few outs. Wardlaw (hamstring), Stephenson (thumb), Cunnington (retired), CCJ (concussion), Comben (ankle), Zurhaar (ankle) and Shiels (calf). Tiger by 6 goals.

Those names are enough to make one tremble in fear.

Variable effort is a current Richmond thing. This season we get all or nothing, a good quarter followed by one mediocre one and two useless. I was hoping for a finals berth a couple of weeks ago but now that is beyond us a send off match played with respectable performance is the best we can hope for . It won't salvage the season but it could provide one feel good factor

True about the finals but for some reason or other the team didn't bother turning up until the damage was done. It seemed as they had just checked out for the season after the Lions shellacking. On Saturday they have a chance to redeem themselves a little but not holding my breathe even though the Roos have so many players out due to injury. If Trent's calf is not good then I imaging he will be the sub with painkilling injections and strapping to get him onto the park. Besides we seem to play injured players most weeks

Rather CJ and Stephenson we’re playing

I don't think anyone should expect an easy game this week. The Roos have beaten us in recent times with better teams than we will put out this week.

What?? The 2 players we want to see are out. Strange choices, then again I couldn't care less.....just get this season over and done with.
