Dees last night reminded me of peak us. They never got out of third gear but were never going to lose.

And every year the media feed their delusion by pumping up their tires pre season. My Bomber supporting BIL is blaming it on their tough draw to start the season. I love their continuing run of failure. It makes up for how their supporters talked about us when we were down and out.

Ask your BIL how McGrath is going (and compare to Walsh). Light the ember and see the flame develop, it will be glorious to watch haha

Agreed. How many times did we say "we did what we needed to" across those 4 years.

The Dees are looking pretty good. Didn't play well but still won inside 50's by 26!

Lamb will be happy, Ken will be available shortly. Look out dimma.

I reckon they are playing the long game unlike what we did in 2018. We tried to dominate the whole season - no team can really do that.

Dess look ominous, anyone mocking them is a fool IMO.

It’s theirs to lose.
Injuries shape all seasons, lose one of Oliver/Gawn/Petracca and they are suspect.

I just hope we get a good run with injury and have our full list to choose from. It might be the challenge that sparks the senior players.

Beat me to it SA.

It’ll be a race to see who get Clarksons signature first. Especially with the Giants and the Suns poor start to the season.
Agree with both of you. Just can’t quite see Clarko at port - he’d be tempted by the giants and suns lists I think.

Port’s such a bogan club it’ll take a particular type of coach - won’t be bucks no one really wants him deep down anyway, no clarko, Ross Lyon would fear for his life over there, prob an ambitious younger assistant?

Every year it seems that a side that did well the previous year or two falls dramatically. 2022’s winner is Port Adelaide!
And west coast from a couple of years ago

And maybe even us - as hard as this is to write

Yep I make fun of others knowing full well we too are on a knifes edge, even more so with doubt over the Tiger Kings return.

A must win tomorrow for the Tigers its so important to get ahead of the ledger going forward.
