Brown has always been overrated. He's had only a couple really really good years.

I agree Barnzy, he played in three flags as a kid, took a few marks running back with the flight of the ball and he's regarded as one of the greatest.

Paul Roos actually said 'Richo..' and was cut off by Healy. Not sure what he was going to say, but might have been something along the lines of 'Richo suffers because of his lack of finals played/success'.

Tredrea?? Please. Just blew any semblance of a sane argument out the window.

Bloody good player Tredrae. Bloody good player. I saw ONC to, fact is no matter what order you put that list you can't get it wrong. They are all champions on that list

If some on this forum were to be believed, Richmond is apparently choc-full of supestars whilst the rest of the competition barely has a dozen good players between them.

After hearing Roos talk up Melbourne possibly getting a free PP from the AFL I may have to change my stance. He might coach them. No sane neutral person thinks they deserve a handout for their own mistakes.

Fair point. He was trying to make it sound reasonable that Melbourne get a priority pick. Interestingly Mike was dead against it and he is a Melbourne supporter.

Sorry, Browny was a champion for years and deserves his acholades, even if they are just for years past (you did say he had some really, really good years so couldn't have been overrated at those times).

He isn't as good any more but that is generally acknowledged in the media.

On TFS he is an absolute superstar. I really hope he gets a great media gig when he hangs up the boots. He's as genuine as it gets.

I get the impression Roos will take the Dee's job.

That would be the best news of the year. His no Lyon. They will turn on him like they did Daniher.
"Stack the back line Roo's"

I like many others don't watch OTC anymore. Can't stand Roos.

Was wondering whether he mentioned the worst 30 seconds of football ever (after our poor last minute or so v Gold Coast last year). Well the mighty Geelong stuffed up big time on Sunday at the Gabba and I am sure didn't get put to the torch like we did last year. I reckon Geelong made at least five or six blatant mistakes in that last minute that cost them the game. Yes they do have more credits in the bank than we did but we were certainly lambasted for our display. Did anyone who watched hear any negative comment pointed at Geelong ?

Did you get that impression from last night's episode of OTC? I wasn't really watching the show only caught bits and pieces but I got the impression he wouldn't be coaching them.

I don't get the strong dislike for Roos on PRE. I don't find him too offensive, in fact he seems quite genuine to me. Then again I rarely see much of him. I've reached footy saturation point and all the talk shows bore me. I much prefer to just watch our team play these days rather than take in all the analysis and politics.

Me too Rosy. I watched the Foxtel League Teams show last week only because it was on the plane on a flight back from Sydney - it was terrible, almost unwatchable. I don't watch half-time or quarter breaks if a game is on the telly, prefer to mute it. I do prefer radio commentary to TV, but losing interest in that also. Maybe I'm getting old.

Haven't seen enough of Roos to comment to much on his anti-Richmond bias - but he seems to be harsh but fair in most of his comments.

Probably conditional on Melbourne being given charity draft picks.

Yep, and I'm sure that the AFL will oblige such is their desperation to have Roos at the helm.

If the Dees get a priority pick, I hope the other clubs submit an official protest of some sort that this is unacceptable.

Everyone knows Roos is shockingly bias twords the Swans.

I find his critiscm of Richmond fair even though I agree sometimes it can be quite harsh.

I dont have an issue with commentators voicing their opinion positive or negative as long as it is done in a respectible fashion.

Contrast Roos to a moron like Brian Taylor. Taylor is a disgrace to the industry. Saturday Night football is basically unwatchable
