Sensational comeback from Qld.

The immediate cut-off from nein is a bit harsh, I would have liked to hear some post-match summary and hear from some of the players. Much more interesting than the half-hour or so of crap they had before the game.
Game had barely finished & off went the coverage.Looking forward to game 2 already.

Queensland would have won in a canter if Hodges could tackle. He gave the Blues two tries with his half hearted attempts at tackling.

Hodges' game wasn't bad actually. Those tries were more a result of the Queensland defence as a whole not sliding well, a chronic problem that NSW weren't good enough to take advantage of this year.

Slater must come in for game 2

Slater is rubbish. Take the Storm blinkers off.
Your post is rubbish

lol

If he was any good he would have been picked for the first game.

He's sh!t. Short of 1 fantastic try, what has he done at Origin level to justify further selection? Nothing.
Absolute crap,we'll have to agree to disagree

Good to see you can't answer the question MB

What's he done (other than ONE particularly spectacular try) to justify further selection?

Go back to trolling Wallace & Miller threads in Dyer Tribe if you can't answer simple questions...

You must be a bit of a nutcase. Slater is red hot. Have you seen any games this year? He's repeatedly conjured tries from very marginal chances, been a key to the Storms form. As for not being selected, the game is full of top notch backs. The reason is pretty simple, can't put 'em all in.

Good game. Price proved me very wrong. Thought he was past it and picked on name. Thurstan brilliant. Love watching Ingliss, poetry in motion, tough too, doesn't flinch on defence. Thurstan 3, Price 2, Ingliss 1.

Did anyone see the lead up when the players were saying the name of their original club when introduced? Jake Lillyman was recruited from the Richmond Tigers. Thats the outback Qld, woop woop RL tigers of course. Still like him now though.

You answered your own question in part, snakeman filled in the blanks.

My tips for this week
Raiders to beat Dragons (Already right)
Doggies to beat Cowboys (Already wrong)
Manly to beat Storm
Souths to beat Titans
Sharks to beat Roosters
Broncos to beat knights
Warriors to beat Eels
Panthers to beat Tigers

Storm beaten 13-12 by manly in great game.Storm were woeful for 1st 25 minutes & were 12-0 down until we scored a try late in the 1st half.A great 2nd half by both sides decided by a matt orford field goal a few minutes before full time.

Broncos beat Knights 71-6 in slaughter today & Tigers beat Penrith 25-24.Three one point games in this round with the other 3 not close at all.

Carnage no doubt about it!!

Warriors also copped a hiding at hands of Parra!

Wonder if the Broncos have just been shocked outta their slumber with their origin players getting a leg up from last Wed nights win ............. time will tell on this one.

Tigers motoring along nicely, Bulldogs struggling as i expected and now Stormers having their depth tested again with a shocking run of injuries to key players ie Crocker, Slater and Kaufusi.

Its a shame even tho i am a Dogs fan as i like the Storm heaps and i want to see them kick on if my Doggies dont do any good which looks to be the case.

Canberra doing well considering player movements and very hard to pick more than 5 winners a week in the NRL tips at the minny.

Good season so far its gonna get better.

Appears to be plenty of turmoil at Newcastle,no surprise with Brian Smith coaching.Clint Newton will play with the Storm for the rest of 2007 after seeking & being granted an immediate relase from the Knights. Its reported there could be up to 9 players on the chopping block at Newcastle.
