I liked Freddie Fittler as a player, he was a champion. While I don't support NSW, I feel sorry for him. Have a drink, get blind Freddie.

QLD have rejuvenated and rebuilt another long term side with youngsters in a quick turn around from their greatest dynasty side that dominated 9 out of 10 series and won 8 straight.

NSW have missed their chance to have a dominant couple of years.

You coward Addo-Carr.

What a *smile* embarrassment NSW are.
gotta agree. They are woeful. Terrible. Pathetic. I'm not surprised they got beaten, or by Queensland's superior spirit and teamwork, but I am surprised by just how badly they got beaten and the total lack of heart. And the cheap shots in the blue at the end when the game was done and dusted, just so bad.

Trying to look at some positives for NSW, Latrell out is huge, the best player in the comp by a mile, Trevoyavic, or however you spell it, out early in the game with a bad injury, he's one of the best players in the game, I don't understand why Walker wasn't selected, he never seems to get selected, why?

Slater JT, Cam Smith and Darren Lockyer .................what a group to lead the Maroons.

Learning from 4 all time great QLD p[layers.

Fittler and Johns are true greats of all time also so is Bedsy Buderus but the Blues just dont seem to have the heart for it that the QLD'rs do its bred into them.

Sydney resident but enjoy the NSW melts each SOO series.

That said, if NSW want to try & restore basic competency, let alone recover, Fittler needs to be punted now. The use of Cook should be the last straw, beyond absurd

Quick, small, perhaps irrelevant story for the PRE NRL fans on here.

Was down at Olympic Park Imaging today where the Storm are based. (Failed knee meniscectomy surgery. Had to get another MRI.)

Anyway I’m hobbling really badly, go round a corner and Harry Grant and a few guys walk past me and Harry says “Geez mate…..sorry” and jumps out of the way like he was going to bowl me over. “You ok ?” I said “All ok mate.”

He was nowhere near me. Never in danger. But the point being that the guy was courteous and aware enough to apologise and take action for something that he didn’t need to.

Harry Grant = decent guy it seems.

I know a terrific knee surgeon
Want his name?

The one I’m seeing is supposed to be as well. AFL players by the dozen etc etc. Hasn’t gone so well with 2 surgeries with him now.
Hopefully they get it right for ya soon Red. Brothers missus has had three knee replacements and as many rectification surgeries over the last twenty years n is still gimpin around with a bung knee. No warranties n never a discount either, just ongoing *smile* about how they can fix it.

Thanks. You wouldn’t think a simple arthroscopy on your meniscus would be so problematic.

Some random bastard poking holes in you then rummaging around in the hole, cutting n scraping at bits n pieces. What could possibly go wrong??
Doesn't matter how simple or how often they perform the procedures, sadly there's always one or two here n there where things just don't quite work out right.

Yeah, a few years ago a neighbor of mine went in for an arthroscope on his knee & didn't make it. I guess there's always a risk when you go under an anesthetic.

Nrl Tigers, sadly, an embarrassment. Forget binning coaches, board & administrators have to go. Most of them have entrenched in positions for up to a decade & overseen the club stocks falling through the floor.
