Following the aftermath of Queensland's big underdog win last night.

Once again the media line is all about NSW losing and why and what went wrong.

They got beat by a team that is brought up learning to never give in when playing for their State.

Yet seemingly no kudos gets afforded to the victors .................yet again.

No malice on the act but I Papali'i took Fogarty''s leg out, penalty justified. Question is whether the officials would have given the Tigers a penalty in a similar event. Brooks was pushed out for the 3rd Canberra try but 'crickets & tumbleweeds' from the officials. Unfortunately the Tigers burnt their captain's challenge in the 1st few minutes.

Still, 0-18 in previous years & even the 1st month this year would resulted in a hiding so credit to the team for showing some fight & heart. Team needs footy iq.
 
Refs boss admits bunker got this call wrong....Maybe Ai rather than 'no I' in the bunker in future...

SOO squads battered & bruised after the weekend round. NSW especially in trouble losing losing Cleary & probably Murray for the series.

Curious if Fittler will pair Hynes & Luai together or perhaps discard both & try long time former teammates Reynolds & Walker in the halves, tempting with Mitchell likely to be available, interesting, given how much Fittler supposedly values club connections....Perhaps Cook for Koroisau too to give the Blues a big rabbit flavour...

Ha the NSW commentary team in NRL on 9 tonight gunning for Big Tino to get rubbed out for the Origin.

Come on Freddy I thought you were better than that.

Bad luck Tiger Koroisau but no way should such a football act, unfortunate accident, result in suspension.
 
No try for mine, didn't look like he forced it, but the Queenslanders will take it, go the Toads !!
 
Val Holmes, what a class act. Its a procession. NSW no heart no brains. Those calling for tedesco to be dropped were right (I was wrong). Can any NRL experts please explain to me why Cody Walker wasn't selected? Seems like the glaringest of glaring ommissions to my non-expert eyes.
