Has anbody been watching the show on Ch2, 8 pm Tuesday night about South Sydney?

I watched it last night, really good, really really good. Goes into how Russell Crowe basically saved the club and follows the Rabbitos through the 2007. A bit like year of the dogs but throw Russell Crowe and his Hollywood connections in. Compuslive viewing. Watching Russell refer to Eddie MCGuire "as they guy who runs the broadcast netwrok" not even by name, it was gold.

Every sports fan will like this show.

Absolutely fantastic doco. Souths in many ways remind me of us. Its been a bloody long time for them too and their supporters have never let them down. Geez I wish we had a team like Russell Crowe & Peter Holms a Court to inject the same spirit (and cash) into the RFC. Look at the turnaround in the Bunnies in the last 12 months alone? Who in their wildest dreams would have thought they'd make the 8 this year?!!! They were dead set about to collapse 2 years ago and the League were more than willing to let that happen. They have truly found their heart again. Go Souths, you guys rock!

Great win by the Storm last night beating the doggies 38-6.It was only the last 20 minutes that saw the Storm get on top but they finally got their attack back in order.

Credit to Souths but Tigers let down themselves & the Leichhardt crowd in a big way yesterday....No excuse for that 'performance'.

Better off missing finals than be pantsed in Melbourne in a fortnight.

Tigers will bounce back & slaughter Knights this week.

May well do but likely to be a hollow victory. Very disappointed they didn't produce when it mattered.

Andrew Johns arrested in possession of an ecstasy tablet whilst in England.Whilst not charged he now has a record. He has claimed the tablet was placed in his pocket at a nightclub. Not sure if he will convince many with this excuse although it is possible.

Yeah that's an incredible blow to his reputation. He's also been officially cut from assisting the Wallabies too. Stupid, stupid bloke. He claims the pill was put in his pocket at a crowded nightclub in London by an unknown person and was having such a good time that he "forgot to take it out"! Wtf? Idiot.

Might need to rethink his excuse.

Mentioned in Dyerville already, but damn massive interview on the NRL Footy Show tonight.

Obviously he is no chronic coke head, but......damn

I'm still in shock about this whole thing :(

I'm totally in shock. Now its all come out:

"Andrew Johns admits 10 years of on-field drug abuse

RUGBY league legend Andrew Johns says taking drugs when he was playing Friday night matches gave him a better chance of avoiding the NRL’s drug-testers.

After news broke yesterday that the former international was caught in London with an ecstasy tablet in his pocket, Johns has revealed he was in the grip of drugs and alcohol throughout his whole playing career and was battling depression."

Agree, this is a total shock but at least he's come clean.

Season over for the Tigers blowing 24-12 lead with 10 minutes to play to lose 26-24 . Last week's loss obviously didn't hurt enough.Well done to the Knights to finish off a tough year in good style but no hiding the Tigers
have been a major disappointment & probably overrated.Time to stop living off 2005....Guess it gives Penrith something to play for later in the weekend.

Couldn't believe this result mj,heard the tigers were up 12-0 & thought they would win comfortably.Tigers were good enough to play finals & should be in the 8.

Watched the Andrew Johns interview.Just makes you wonder how many other sportsmen are on drugs.

In attempting to control the damage to his rep, he and his brother's PR machine are working overtime to put the best spin on the situation.

Exceptional mb.
Whoever's responsible for this carefully orchestrated spin doctoring is making Terry Wallace look like an amateur.
