Am getting tired of the bleating coming from Broncoland, yes theyve had a shi run with injuries but this continual sooking about the Storm is getting thin.

Me thinks the Broncos may be feeling the heat of missing the Semis for the first time in eons.
Agree Craig,1st we had Bennettt & Petro whinging about Jarrod Hayne taking a dive when he in fact was injured. Then they have their grapple whinge yesterday.Petro was moaning every 5 minutes to the ref yesterday.

Cowboys beat Pnathers 30-26 in extra time.Penrith leading by 10 pts with 8 min to go should not have lost but sometimes their defence is like a turnstile.

Its the Spoon for the Panthers.

Penrith are going to have to snare some more good kids from their junior talent pool which has been good for them over the years as they arent going anywhere for the time being.

Sure they got big Petero but they are losing Wallace, Gower and possibly Priddis and Puletua.

Panthers are looking like the Raiders of recent years as being a club that cant entice big names to go and play for.

Losing Gower is really gonna hurt them.

Panthers sure now how to turn a win into a loss in quick time. They aren't too far away & despite some player losses I think they'll go alright in 2008.

Still 12 sides in the race for the finals. In Bundy night footy Souths take on Manly & if Souths can win they will go into the 8 at the expense of the Broncos.Would think Manly may be too good for Souths in a pretty close game.

Agree. Ought to be a quality game.

If Souths can pull this one off they will deserve a spot in the semis.

Sure will, they could play the Storm in the 1st week of the finals.

*smile* Panthers are the bain of my existence only tip ive missed this week

Yes i tipped the Raiders - always back em at home in winter i do, its an unpleasant place for visiting sides.

Good to see dogs get up, as their roster will be without OMeley next year i believe this is the last chance for the dogs to have a real go at finals for a year or so, although i doubt they are good enough to go all the way this year they have been too hit and miss.

Bring on September, my moneys on the Storm but anything can happen and on their day the Eels, Sea Eagles or Dogs could throw a spanner in the works time will tell.

Big game this week Re Dogs v Storm i believe the DOgs can win this one asd the Storm havent been as convincing over the past 4 weeks in particular maybe a slight slump but the key is they have still been winning.

The Storms key advantage over the Dogs is their size and speed in the backs and im expecting plenty of Cam Smith high balls for Folau and Inglis to take over the vertically challenged dogs such as El Masri.

Battle of 2 of the best defences this year i believe .... the Bunnies defence this year has improved outta sight and the Sea Eagles built their early season success on their defence (as all good teams do).

Manly to win but it'd be great for the Bunnies to get up.

Unbelievable come back from the Bunnies in the second half. They totally deserve there spot in the 8, well done.

Agree, think Souths need to win 1 of their last 2 to be assured of finals spot.Souths had 58% posession so its surprising the margin wasn't greater.

Has anbody been watching the show on Ch2, 8 pm Tuesday night about South Sydney?

I watched it last night, really good, really really good. Goes into how Russell Crowe basically saved the club and follows the Rabbitos through the 2007. A bit like year of the dogs but throw Russell Crowe and his Hollywood connections in. Compuslive viewing. Watching Russell refer to Eddie MCGuire "as they guy who runs the broadcast netwrok" not even by name, it was gold.

Every sports fan will like this show.
