Noah Balta - Welcome to Tigerland

Between Balta, Stack, Bolton and Ross the RFC player budget just got a hell of a lot tighter.

They would not have bargained on this much improvement from the bottom end of our list.

Well maybe not this quick of development and all at once.

I liked the one out mark against Burgoyne. One grab and strong.

Bolts and Stack are my two highlights so far this year

The sky is the limit for these two - they could be anything.

If they played for the pies or bummers they would already be talked about as future champion.

Stack will have both Freo & West Coast slapping down the door to get him back to WA. He should tell them to Foff
Balta. Needs 2 or 3 preseasons and we will have a ‘Kouta’. He is sensational to watch

Love his killer instinct. Gets a free in the centre and he doesn't dither or chip sideways. 70 metre kick deep inside 50.

Gets loose ball in the middle, just takes off bounces and makes a certainty of a goal with a draw and handball over the top. Done it two weeks running. Gets a mark or free anywhere within 60 or even running on his left 50 metres out hemmed in by oppo players, still backs himself in to kick the goal.

Great to watch.

Yes yes yes!! Legitimate gamebreaker.

Rated best on ground by AFL ratings , Dusty second.

Amazing thing with Balta , like Dusty, is that when he gets it good things happen.

Because the AFL and media are idiots, they have penned Walsh in for the RS (and probably because they also feel sorry for Carlton). But in years to come, suspect the narrative will be "how did Walsh finish above Balta for the RS award" or something similar.

AFL spin, sell the Blue scum some hope

Do like that Balta refuses to wear a shin guard, cos he reckons its soft...

Balta has more impact on our team than anyone else on the list.

His versatility means that he can play every single position on the ground and dominate.

He is an oppositions coaches nightmare.

If he continues at his current rate of improvement he will be a top 5 player in the league within 2-3 years.

Absolute superstar in the making that needs to be signed up asap.

This guy is going to be a freak. His run and then long kicks just completely obliterates the opponent's back line setup. Love the way he takes them on. Has anyone mentioned he's only 19?
