Noah Balta - Welcome to Tigerland

Stud, gun whatever you want to call him. Will be a great of the game in due course.

Great too see the club has shown faith in his ability to continue selecting him
Could be anything has X factor galore Should never be looked at for a permanent spot in the backline

The monster running hoof into Lynchy was my highlight.

I reckon we have the leagues new indescribably versatile freak man

For those of you old enough to remember A Koutafides...Balta is him mark 2.
With a couple of pre seasons he will be the most influential player in the league
and will win games off his own boot. Wait and see folks.

Big call, hope you’re right

I remember prior to his draft both Bullus and I were on the Balta wagon and we were hoping , dreaming , wishing we could pick him up and then it finally happened and i remember that night thinking pheww we got him and at #25 as well was a bonus as the club preferred to take Higgins & CCJ prior to Balta which made us extremely nervous but then to have patrick Nais to fall through was just bliss. I have absolutely no doubt that Balta in 2 years time will be a massive name in the AFL and tonight he showed signs of his midfield potential as well and we have a genuine 18 position player thats an athletic freak.

Thank You so much Brett Deledio for selecting the GWS and bringing home Balta , CCJ & Naish for the pick that was traded for your injured body

Notorious is way prettier than Couta fish heads. But yep, he could become just as influential and exciting a player as Kouta in his prime.

Bloody amazing the lolly bag of choices we have to salivate over at the moment. Hand full of our usual favourite nom players go down with injuries n we're left with the likes of Balta, Stacka, Bolton, Ross to choose from instead. Bloody fun days being a Tiger.

The poor guy is being thrown all over the shop. But he continues to show some real talent & seems to be getting more involved each week.

Let him be thrown all over the shop every week. Keeps him involved in the game and reacting to all the various permutations. Lock him into one role n he might start over thinking matters instead of simply playing the game as it unfolds in front of him.
Far to easy to stifle n structure players n ruin their instincts, creativity n enjoyment of the game.

needs to do a month as rover to round out his education.

We have a Daryl White (an all time fav of mine) - Richo - Stewie Lowe - NicNat super hybrid.

If it was the NBA, he'd be on the cover of Time magazine

His priceless right now

He's a footballer. Just put him in the spot you need filled. See ball, get ball.

When the side is fit, he's your real weapon. Want to stretch them down back, put him forward. Want to hurt them around the contest, let him ruck rove. Want to hurt the other ruckman, run him in the ruck for 10 minutes.

Let wild beasts run free.

Can't recall seeing a tall move like this guy.

Lightning quick.

You see that passage in the last where he accelerated to the ball and streamed away from opposition - Dermie laughed it was so surprising.

BTW loved Dermie's call of the game, he was spot on about the enormity of the win. And Derm loved Shai, loved Balta. He's got a soft spot for the tigers but he also knows his footy.

Pav tried his best to be enthusiastic but couldn't hide the disappointment in his dockers.

Someone posted on twitter that he was on the ground for 119/123 minutes. Phenomenal really, especially considering he had barely been playing 50% game time.

Yeah I was laughing along with Dermie; it was phenomenal to see. Dermie dribbles on a bit but he's one of the very few commentators I can tolerate (I'd rather gouge out my own eyes than listen to Dwayne Russell).

That was a really enjoyable game to watch. Balta, Bolton, Stack and Baker the prime reasons.

"Let wild beasts run free" :hihi :hihi
