Long sleeves, to much extra weight to carry.Real bad game from him tonight.
Unfortunately he'll never be an All Australian due to his inability to run and spread and be an offensive weapon.
Tonight's game demonstrated how if he isn't winning the ball in the air, he adds very little.
His attack on the ground ball is superb. Maybe you're thinking of a different playerTonight's game demonstrated how if he isn't winning the ball in the air, he adds very little.
This has gotta be a troll?Unfortunately he'll never be an All Australian due to his inability to run and spread and be an offensive weapon.

And yet here we are and he doesn't have an AA.Rubbish.
He played sore tonight, probably shoulder or ribs. Nick is a hard man, and he doesn't wear a long sleeve jumper just because it might rain a little. he was quite obviously hiding something with the long sleeve jumper.
Bulldust. Firstly your premise is just wrong. But for arguments sake, lets say there is some truth to it, what he does do is stand and deliver taking contested marks in the backline, then run off and distribute. Yet we have cheap kick merchants like Darcy Byrne Jones and Tom 'give him another AA' Stewart getting the uber plaudits. (Stewart has more AAs than Dusty FFS).And yet here we are and he doesn't have an AA.
Don't get me wrong, he is a champion - but he cannot/does not run and spread.
That's why he's lorded within our bubble but isn't in the wider football environment.
Yep - exactly. That is the modern game; like it or not.Bulldust. Firstly your premise is just wrong. Ok I take your point, to a point. I still think you're understating Vlastuins run, and even if you are totally correct, he still should have at least 1, minimum, AA. Or to put it another way, even if you're correct, he's still richmonded on AAs. And Stewart is Geelonged. Nick should have 1 or 2, and Stewart should have 2 or 3, thats if you are correct.Yep - exactly. That is the modern game; like it or not.

Disgusting but reality.
It is a big factor when it comes to AA’s, which is basically a media award.Ok I take your point, to a point. You do raise an interesting point. If what Stewart does is more valued than Vlastuin by the footy punditry, thats flawed, they're wrong. 3 flags and routine finals victories over Geelong says so.
For me though, the anti-Richmond and pro-Geelong bias is a real factor. Its not the only factor, but its a real factor.
