Nick Vlastuin

Most disappointing player last night. (Mansel, Miller, Ralphsmith Rioli dont count they haven't done anything)
He was rubbish.
This constant slipping over Is killing me.
Last night matched his efforts when he watched allowed Penderbury to waltz past him.
He is letting the back 6 down badly.
Having him dropped wouldn't be the worse thing

The errors are noticeable but he's still doing plenty of good stuff too & think his demise is overstated by some.

I don't see anyone replacing him in a hurry.

Pointedly named on the bench with Bauer named as emergency..

His intercept marking has all but vanished. Bauer can bring that. This is a warning shot that Nick needs to lift.

Think he got it last week. Spent a lot of time early in the game, on the bench.

His discipline was better. That's a start. His form seems only a bit down to me. Down but redeemable.

Is he wearing his Crosby's today?
It's a pity the 450 half back flankers our recruiting team has drafted over the last 5 yrs not 1 is yet good enough to replace BigV.
Clark needs to go, it's not bigV fault he has been out of form for 12mths but still gets selected.
Where's Brown? Where's Banks?? Where's Banik??

**To rub shiit in our faces they are trying to turn a forward into a defender. Bauer.
Come to Richmond as a forward and you will be turned you into a defender.
What's next Soldo as a winger?

Another mixed bag today. Some really good stuff interspersed with bad clangers. Not the same player of a couple of seasons back. Mind you could say the same for our whole defence

Tigga has never been the same since Dangerfield assassinated him GF night 2020.

Thought he played well today . Has slowed down this year but still worthy of his place and still one of our better kicks ( is that saying much ????)

It's his kicks that are standing out for me for all the wrong reasons.
That and he now holds onto the ball a little longer than he should.
He is a gun but time has caught up.
That and being elbowed in the temple...

If today is a pass for him, how far has he fallen?

Was very average today, his mistakes can be pointed to at least 4 goals today.

Trade bait.

4 goals?

Thought he had a good game. But it was a small field.

He is 99% part of the reason we are crap.
He slips over, he doesn't intercept anymore,
Its a guaranteed now at least 2 howlers a week.
The smooth/bump and Witts goal sums up his season.
I wouldn't have played him today and he started the last qtr on the bench

Don't reckon he is as bad as many are saying.

But I will say his slipping over is frustrating, does he need different boots? No idea but for all those lost years it was always noticeable that Richmond players lost their footing, we don't want to become that team which slips over all the time, thought we had corrected that.

Thought our 3 time Premiership star was ok yesterday , a couple contests where he would have clunked the saving mark , however he didn’t . Something that probably shouldn’t be commented on without actual knowledge, however I suspect the concussions have slowed Nick down a bit , just not he’s normal reaction time anymore .

Which ones?
I'll go back over but right away the Tylar Young kick to Ben King chain is all started by Vlastuin missing a handball target that starts a chain of scramble handbells that ends up with young. There was a missed tackle on Ainsworth that lead to the Holamn holding the ball free. I'll go look at the others.
