NFL & NCAA Football Threads

Well the Eagles have been playing in third gear all season and this game they decided to throw it in reverse.

A chip shot FG missed, fumbles, dropped passes, penalties and an offense that just couldn't get anything going and this is what you get.
Not convinced in the slightest about our replacement offensive coordinator either.

Said it all season so far that I wasn't convinced about our record of 5-0. All I heard from them was 'all that matters is winning'. Now we go from no offense Jets to the highest powered offense in the league in Miami.

Time to pull the *smile* finger out or else it's going to be a blowout.

Jeez, shocking no call there. Receiver couldn't get both arms up and had jersey clearly pulled.

Geez I’m gonna be firing off some emails tonight to the GM’s of some of these disgraceful teams….who’s got John Lynch’s address ? FMD….

Some inherent weaknesses appeared again today. A just average secondary that gave up yards when it counted (dont trust Ward and Lenoir) and a just average WR cohort. Aiyuk dropped 2 catches a top class WR would have taken. For as good as he is, they go to McCaffrey too much as well. Predictable.

Knew this was a danger game. Almost picked the Browns but with a third string quarterback out there you’d think the Niners should have got it done.

What annoyed me once again was Kyle losing another game he shouldn't have lost.

There's 3.21 left on the clock and Browns just have 2 time outs left, instead of running the ball and trying to lose some time of the clock, he goes throw, throw, throw and just 25 seconds came of the clock, including Purdy for a 15 metre penalty for intentional grounding, made the decision to throw every ball was a failure.

And lots not give the QB a pass either for just the last drive being good - the rest of the game he went 12/27, 125 yards, 1 Int and a fumble as well, played like a system QB 🤐

Cowboys should be a fair bit in front. Lamb having a big game.
 
Well done Cowgirls. At least this line is less than a field goal. Finally gained some luck in this....although still in spoon territory.
 
Jeez the chargers D is pretty shitful and their offensive line is poor. Dallas had 3rd and long 4 times I thin in the last and got it every time.

Surprised they got so close. Not sure Dallas are much good only putting up 20 points. Both sides underwhelming.

Whoa what's this then ?? A man takes a day off from the NFL to play golf, reasoning that the Chargers are only playing against the sleep with the lights on Cowboys. Should be an easy cover. But no, they crap the bed and leave me realising I can no longer take game day's off. Need to be on here revving my selections up and getting them over the line.

So let's see what today's result means for our comp.

Sheesh, what a complete shItshow !! Three duck eggs laid, and only one tipster picking more than one winner. Onya TF !! But no priority picks for you now. Need to learn to tank better !

Always a good day out at Brookwater MD. A lovely 25deg was the icing on the cake.

Yeah we may need to swab Forcey, or check he hasn't taken a leaf out of Rid's playbook and outsourced his tips to a relation ?
