NFL & NCAA Football Threads

Chiefs have been far from impressive in this one, but Denver are flat out pathetic.

What did the Broncos pay for Payton? And for how long do they have him?

Smug ***** getting what he deserves.
Same with ol' Russ. 500 sackings reached.

I reserve the right to unashamedly alter my tips once Rids and Junior have brainstormed and submitted theirs.

Here we go then champ :D

Well, it's been a BIG, BIG Week or Two man 😃

Thinking two weeks ago I couldn't go harder in the gym, after doing just 1.5 laps of the gym with crutches, which is about only 50 metres.

I was panting, needing water after it and every set of weights as well. Very frustrated I thought that I would be in here for a long, long-time man, maybe forever 😔 😢

I must say also I've had a combo Pacemaker/Defibrillator since 2018 and have seen a new Dr assigned to me at Epworth from Melbourne Heart Institute who put the device in.

So 'Dr Rob' listens to my frustration, that I get out of breath easy, I was tired if I go to the toilet or shower, and in the gym I needed at least 5 minutes break to the next task 😔

Dr Rob takes me off one of the tablets I've been on since 2018 for my heart, and put me on a new heart medication 🤗

Man, the difference between me before this change and right now is amazing 😃

Then in a video call with the Infectious Diseases Dr at Royal Melbourne, he was happy with everything he is hearing from Epworth I have been taken of the 4 Infectious diseases tablets I've been taking since being in hospital 🤗

So I'm down from 32 tablets a day to 28 tablets aye 🫣🤭😂 🤣

I was also give approval from the Orthopaedic Doctor to put as much weight as the right leg as it can take (Before it was a 50% restriction).

So the last week my physio brings my gym crutches to my room, and I walk with them through the hallway to the lift, press the lift button to go downstairs and then I walk into the gym aye 🤠 🥳 😁 🤗 (Photo's attached). After an hour in the gym, then I walk with them back to my room after the rehab session aye.

Wheelchair is gone, frame or crutches from now on 💪 👊 😊

I also have gone from 1.5 laps of the gym in a session up to 8 laps around the gym, so 280 metres compared to 50 metres before 💪 👊 😊

I have also moved my bed area next to the window (see a couple of pics below 😀), as the guy who had it before has gone home 🤠🥳😁

MCG and the lights are on, and the dog on the upstairs balcony across the road gives me a smile daily :LOL:20231004_101833.jpg20231004_101846.jpg20231004_101929.jpg20231004_105529.jpg20231004_105535.jpg20231004_105555.jpg20231004_132850.jpg20230909_120207.jpgScreenshot_20231014_195831_Photo Editor.jpg20231008_105059.jpg

See you all later aye, have a great weekend 😉 🤠 🥳
