NFL & NCAA Football Threads

All the best @Ricemagic That is a horrific accident and hope you can make a full recovery.

Distracted driving as bad as drink driving.

Had someone rear end me not stopping at a red many years ago but luckily way lower speed than what you copped but messed my neck up a bit.

Best wishes man.
Cheers RoarEmotion,

Definitely being rear ended is tough to take cause you have no say in what happens next.

And I know the neck area is such a tough area to have something wrong with, I have lost the taste for many things man, chocolate bullets and chocolate bars aren't the same as before, might be a good thing for weight reduction

I hope everything is well for you though aye :notworthy:

Sorry to hear of your terrible misfortune Riceman; that sounds horrible. Good to hear from you though and all the very best for your recovery.

Good luck mate.
Thanks Ridley :giggle:

Definitely yours and everyone else's words, even though we haven't met YET, definitely using positive thoughts for fuel to get out of here maybe even in better condition than I was previously aye 😄

Brisbane mate surprised me with a visit Friday and Sunday. He was here for the big game. But no luck end of the day.

Ex-Victorian who played VFA in the 70's-80's for Frankston Dolphins, played in their Second Division Premiership team 1978. Played with players like Robert Mace (St Kilda ex-player), Sam Lloyd played for Frankston before AFL.

Matthew Boyd, Dogs is one of there ex-players as well. Also Matty Boyd's fame is his uncle (John Boyd) who was The Peanut guy, you always buy some from him at Princess Park and watch him throw the packets like 5-10 rows of seats who ever asked for them, sometimes you'd duck as they were going behind you (Of course paying for them aye) 🥜😋

McCaffrey is a freak. League MVP.
Adrian Peterson the last non-QB to win League MVP in 2012. At least he was also a Running Back 😃

Broke my 49ers record of TD's in 12 straight games, up to 13 now 😮

The all-time NFL record is shared by OJ Simpson, John Riggins and Lenny Moore at 15 games.

It would be interesting everyone above him after you take his TD's away before he turned 30, if you did the same thing to them

Jerry Rice - 104 TD's after age 29 season
Cris Carter - 81 TD's in his 30's
Terrell Owen's - 81 TD's as well
Randy Moss - 55 TD's

Tough match-ups with some tight lines in the MopsClelland this week.

Study hard kids, could be a season defining week.

Biggest game of the week is the Nothing Could Be Finer 49’ers v Dallarse. Arch enemies. Playoff contenders.

Hang on. The Commanders (what a dumb name) are -5.5 against the hapless Bears ? At home ?

I’m all over that.

Yep a gift from the betting gods.

I did a massive double take when I saw that. Couldn't get it into my bet slip fast enough.

Week 5 games are as follows. Some very interesting lines and match-ups here.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+6.5) @ Buffalo Bills (-6.5) 12:30am Monday Oct 9th (Game played in London)
Baltimore Ravens (-3.5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5) 4am Monday Oct 9th
Philadelphia Eagles (-4.5) @ LA Rams (+4.5) 7:05am Monday Oct 9th

Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) @ Minnesota Vikings (+3.5) 7:25am Monday Oct 9th
Dallas Cowboys (+3.5) @ San Francisco 49ers (-3.5) 11:20am Monday Oct 9th
Green Bay Packers (+1.5) @ Las Vegas Raiders (-1.5) 11:15am Tuesday Oct 10th

Tips to be in by 12:30am Monday
Good luck all.

Good grief…the Commanders just can’t get any pass pressure on at all. They’re giving Fields all day to pass.

Far out.

Hope this isn't an indicator as to how my weekend punting will go.....

There’s been worse, but that was still one of the worst defensive first half performances of the year. Unreal.

If Rivera was an honourable man he’d refund me my bet on them - all $2.50 of it.

Disgraceful defensive performance.
