NFL & NCAA Football Threads

Results are in at the completion of week 4 games.

Kudos to Ridley, T-Shirt Tommy and MD Jazz for securing a bonus point during the round. Great tipping lads !
Pleased to see no duck eggs laid too. This line tipping isn't so hard it seems.

Updated leaderboard as follows

marella jube (2) 14
MD Jazz (3+1) 12
RoarEmotion (2) 11
Mopsy (2) 11
Ridley (1) 10
Redford (1) 10
mainlandy (2) 9
JoMamma (2) 8
T-Shirt Tommy (1) 8
TigerForce (2) 6

Another double book of matches next round, starting with the London game in the early hours of Monday morning.
Highlight being Cowboys @ Niners which should be a pearler !

Games posted around 9am on Friday.

I've been bagging Daniel Jones all season, but I though he might slightly resemble a QB for one game.

Never again. What a dud. Only being paid 5 million dollars a year less than Pat Mahomes.

And the 97 yard pick 6 was particularly impressive.

We sure are missing you @Ricemagic but your health must come first.

Glad to hear your recovery is coming along well since we last communicated. Hope we get to see you more regularly in here soon !!

There will always be a spot for you in the tipping comp whenever you feel up to joining.
Fangs Mopsy :devilish:

Unfortunately I missed going to the Brisbane game up there, which was the next weekend after the accident, Virgin have given me ticket to use in the future :giggle:

Ricey, I was wondering where you were especially now in off-season. Terrible to hear this and what else do you expect from brainless pricks on the roads. I confront them everyday. Great to hear you're recovering.
You a truckie, delivery driver or just talking about driving on the roads?

I do have time sitting in a hospital bed watching even more than I did before

That is just shocking. Bloody hell. Sincere best wishes Jerry.

Ffs….head still spinning from reading that.
Yeah I was a lucky one who woke up after two weeks and get a second chance to enjoy the little things I never appreciated before.

Like rain, I had an operate at Royal Melb about 4 weeks ago and it was raining when the paramedics stretchered me out of the ambulance.

I asked if I could feel the rain on my hands, and let me look up and enjoy the rain for a minute as it'd been 3 months I'd seen or felt rain

Seeing the therapy dog Koby and touching him I was in awe off. I definitely appreciate a lot more than I did before hand.

Unfortunately the dog didn't know basketball or who Kobe was

Geez mate. You’ve been through the wringer. Hopefully the worst is behind you and your rehab will be successful.
No doubt still pain and suffering to go through but I’m sure you’re progressing and family and friends will help keep your spirits up
All the best for you going forward
Cheers Willo :giggle:

After seeing car accident, motor bike, push bike accident victims, even a stable hand was in here she was thrown of a horse. And she had balance issues, physio behind her guiding her when she would start walking left or right to much.

But about three weeks ago she had trained enough to ran out of the gym back to her room with the physio alongside her, ran back into the gym, and half the people in the gym were  or 👏

It gets you so motivated seeing others achieve success in their training, you just use it for more fuel to help you do your training as well 💪
