They’re weak at WR, secondary has some lapses and they struggle in the red zone. High penalty rate too.

Very good team, but dunno if they’re quite SB winning calibre. Not yet anyway.
 
Daniel Jones - $40 mil per year.

Still shaking my head at that contract, but also very happy as the Eagles get to play against him twice a year.

One of the most vanilla QBs ever.

Biggest issue for mine is the O-Line.

The protection of Purdy especially was average at best.

Good options for the WR role I reckon. Deebo, McCaffrey and Aiyuk can all go through there. Would be the envy of most in the league.

Jennings no slouch either.

Yeah but there’s still a lack of elite, breakaway speed at WR even rolling those guys through there.

Even Aiyuk isn’t that quick. Decent hands but he’s not a burner.

He seems bog average Tommy to be sure. Not sure he has great weapons at his disposal though ??

Having said that there were a couple of instances today where he really should have hit his receivers, but didn’t. Passes just too high or just too wide.

It‘s an interesting discussion, in that you can have a generational QB like Mahomes or Brady and build teams around them.

Or go down the 49ers route and have quality all over the field on both sides of the football and have a lower rated QB in charge on lower wages.

Chiefs destroyed the Niners last year but Jimmy G was running the offense.

Be great to see the teams match up again this year with Purdy running the show and see how they fare.

This Steelers v Raiders game is giving me fits !

Can't decide who to select. So I will defer to the best logic known to man. Tip the opposite to Ridley.
