NFL & NCAA Football Threads

Keep up Red. I've ditched cricket.
How you can defend 11 minutes of actual playing time over 3 overblown hours is like saying Vlado's is good value.;)
How often is the ball in actual play in cricket over the course of a whole day, day after day ? Horse racing meet over a whole day ? Youre not making much of a point Mr Hooper.

You‘re out of tune old fogie. Us kids are the very fast and growing future. Keep up.

At the end of the day the much heralded Eagle Defense failed and that was the key. But Booger McFarlane was also right. When the Eagles should have been running it, they weren’t. And they got burnt coming back the other way as a result.
Eagles runners - 4.7avg, 3, 2.3, 2.7. Total 115 yards - 32 rushes - 3.60avg
Kansas runners - 5.1avg, 7.3, 8.5, 4. Total 158 yards - 26 rushes - 6.07avg

From my time watching the NFL, a good running game helps the passing game immensely. Win on the ground, opens up the air :eyes

The pregnant popstar was on field longer than the players. :ROFLMAO:

The lack of use of Sanders was staggering.

I've always said NFL is like chess, both teams know the others moves they can make, but they use different names for them, disguising them in a certain way and it's up to the opponent to decipher what the opponents planning to do and work them out :)

But anyway, I enjoy the anticipation of what they can do to get back into a game and debating with people what they're doing right or wrong. The Brady v N.O. Saints Super Bowl, the Jags Playoff Win for example. Anyway, each to their own aye :eyes

Yeah, what do you think of Hurts running all the time though, he threw 38 times, ran 15, for 53 plays - that's an awful lot of plays for a QB?
Do you think sometimes these running QB's can stifle running backs games, looked it today.
Mahomes went 27 throws and 6 runs, 33 play involvements.

It was a funny game, in that the stats were the complete opposite to what would generally be expected from these teams. Thats imo of course.

Chiefs played an Eagles style offensive game, and vice versa.

Eagles racked up the yards through the air, Chiefs on the ground.

I didn’t see either of those things coming.

And not so sure Mahomes deserved mvp either, Hurts played one hell of a great game.

They won’t make it.
Agree - Embid looks like an 70yold running up and down the court. Between him and Harden the rest of the team wouldn't want to arrive 10min late for the hotel buffet during away games.

I’ve never liked quarterbacks that run all the time. Creates so many issues….

I reckon Bolton had an insane game, 1 Defensive TD, should have been 2, 8 tackles, 1 assist. He was everywhere plus how many great defenders get a TD in a Super Bowl, not too many :eyes
