Way to go Bengals

I fear they are just going to make up the numbers though, they don't win easily. Defence is good but boy their rushing is out of form

Yeah, they sure don't win easy.

Defence is what counts in the playoffs. If the running game clicks, watch out. I think it will be our lack of a second quality receiver that will hurt us more. Teams can double team on AJ Green without too much to fear, and he will run into secondaries above the ordinary in the playoffs.

Re: NFL 2012-13

Here is another meaningless stat that I found interesting.

Andy Dalton has become only the 7th rookie QB since the merger to lead his team to the playoffs in his first two seasons.

Don't know why, I would have thought it was a lot more than that.

Re: NFL 2012-13

I think the 9ers are gone unfortunately.

We lost wide receiver Mario Manningham for the remainder of the season and are not sure if defensive lineman Justin Smith will be back for the playoffs.
The NFC West is still theirs for the taking, but the 49ers are literally limping into the post-season.

Re: NFL 2012-13

The Bengals cannot change their seeding for the play-offs regardless of the result.

Wonder if they will rest half the time like they did a few years ago. Backfired then, when the Jets smashed them.

Re: NFL 2012-13

Great finish to the season with many close games and probabilities.

Wildcard Finals next week:

Indianapolis @ Baltimore
Cincinnati @ Houston

Seattle @ Washington
Minnesota @ Green Bay

Yeah, the Bengals can beat them.

Problem for the 49ers is that if the Packers beat the Vikings next week, they have to play San Francisco.

I've given up on the 9ers this season...think we have run out of stream with these big name injuries unfortunately.

It was a struggle against Arizona but I reckon they can make it past Atlanta. This 2 weeks rest will help.

I think Justin Smith will be back for the playoffs which is huge...he's one of the better players in the league in his position.
He has a partial tear in his triceps muscles which sounds ominous.
Losing Manningham for the season is a massive loss.

Yeah it's terrible doing a knee right before the playoffs. Gore, Moss, Crabtree and Davis are still there. Smith isn't 100% so they'll have to test him out.

If Vikings win, the 9ers play Washington or Seattle who are easybeats and then meet Atlanta or Green Bay in the Conference Finals which will be harder but beatable. I'll keep my eye on San Fran's game and their odds for the Superbowl after.

Bengals will beat them.

People are not giving them a show, but defence wins play-off games.

Re: NFL 2012-13

Probably the ‘the kiss of death’ but rate the Bengals a decent chance to edge past the stumbling Texans in Houston in the 1st of the play-offs
