Not before time. You can't beat experience and age is no barrier. Won't hurt for younger understudies to remain exactly that for a few more years while this player group prevails. Makes no sense to remove one of the catalysts for the resurgent period from 2017.Sounds like Balme is in the Qld quarantine hub with Edwards etc. Therefore back with the group next week 15 Sept.
I think someone mentioned on here that it was the case. Doesnt stop people laying the boots into the club about him not being there though! Is it possible that Balmey himself, at the age of 70, wasn't keen on going up to the hub initially?
Not from what I have heard. Is it possible that Balmey himself, at the age of 70, wasn't keen on going up to the hub initially?

In Talking tigers interview, Balme talks about seeing Edwards train 'here'.Where did you hear that Ice?.
One would hope that arrangement has changed now..
Hopefully the club is not relying on the threat of a 10 game ban to keep players in line and has made signifigant changes.
I wonder if we are the only club split up or others in same boat?

Couldn’t agree more.Stack and CCJ wouldn't have copped 10 weeks if Balme was involved. He said both AFL and club overreacted to the situation!

Riskier staying in Victoria i would have thoughtthis is your weekly reminder that Balme stayed home when the team relocated as he is in at risk age and ahem body type demographic.
Wouldn't know about other clubs but I think it is unique to us as the KDV Sports Complex is just a 70 room split level Campus and not family friendly so once families arrived many moved to the 4.5 star Mercure Resort, splitting the group.
Other clubs were already in resorts like the Pines etc.
Yes as I read too, but maybe it would have been better to all shift to Royal Pines, away from that dive of an 'entertainment' strip at the Gold Coast, as they were supposed to. Could have saved a lot of grief. Would have all been under the one roof too.The club made the decision to stay at the sports complex.
