NBA 2011

Make that 6th straight....no player has done that in NBA history.
He really is getting better and better. Will be great to watch him get to his playing peak!

On a side note, it was personally a great day in the NBA, with the Wolves and Wiz both getting wins! :D

Orlando's Hedo Turkoglu has been suspended for 20 games for testing positive to steroids.

20 games is a bit of a joke.

Looking forward to Miami vs OKC tomorrow.

Should be a lot more than that...it's about 5 weeks really which is laughable.
Comparing to the AFL it's like missing 6 AFL games which is ridiculous.
But he is on about $11.8 million this season, and his suspension will cost him about $2.15 million in lost salary.

I reckon OKC will get up for that one.

Miami another championship is just about in the bag.

Not a big basketball follower, but it looks like their star-studded core has gelled, and as predicted by most experts, it will be very hard for others to stop them now that has happened.

Not surprisingly layers are looking to move Dwight Howard and rondos name has been mentioned. Kobe has backed the trade

Damn Thunder getting belted.
OKC will never beat Miami while Westbrook is on the team.

Miami another championship is just about in the bag.

Watched the game and Westbrook just wasn't defensive enough and both him and Durant took too many silly shots.

Yep, he's too selfish on offense...he forces it too much and is a turnover merchant.
When the Hornets were finding a trade for Chris Paul...they approached OKC about Westbrook for Paul,
should have taken it....imagine Paul on that team wow!

They were in talks before Rondo did his ACL, I'm surprised they still pursuing it.
D'Antoni needs an elite PG to even run his system though.

But I see this trade being a long shot at best,
it would be a dumb move by the Lakers.
This is my take...
So not only are they dealing the megastar center for the PG with the busted knee,
they have to take back at least $5M in deals back to make it legal under the CBA.
That means Terry and his remaining $15.5M, Lee and his $22M remaining,
Bass and his $20M remaining, or Jeff Green and his $35M remaining LOL.
Of course vaunted prospect Fab Melo could be included in the deal to sway things back towards the balance in the middle,
but would Danny Ainge be willing to deal such a certain future star.

It all depends on what the Lakers think Howard will do.
If they think he will leave them high and dry they will try and trade him but if they think he wants to stay they won't budge imo.

50 great plays from the greatest.
This is what we love about sport. Number 8 my favourite.
