With Foley in we were thumping grand finalists. Without him we struggled against the strugglers.

Make or break year for Zippadeee. Personally I'd trade him to Y & B.

+1

Huge loss for sure. I do worry about his achilles..

Hopefully Conca builds on last season.

Campbo came back from a snapped achilles reasonably well. It's not impossible, but I understand your concerns. His history of foot injuries is a concern and can't be dismissed completely. Talks of trading him are a bit silly though, IMO.

And couldn't kick over 40 metres. And lost what little pace he had. Had no burst of speed.

Was a shadow of himself.

So if that's the case, why not try to offload him now and get a reasonable pick for him?
If he has another interrupted season we will would lucky to get Andrew Raines back in a trade.

So in a situation that's been widely documented you expect another team to give a reasonable pick for a player we'd only get rid of due to injury concerns? Just strap ya seatbelt on and watch the yellow and black Foley show next season. It will be something special to behold.

our win:loss ration with and without Foley was interesting but people rave about PUK

How is his rehab going Rosella?

As far as I've heard it's going to plan Col. Not sure what he's doing at this stage but he isn't ready for full training yet. Like with most surgery they probably won't know how it's going to hold out under regular pressure but all the signs are good. They're positive about a full recovery and that's reflected in his recent contract renewal.

I'm got my fingers and toes crossed

I'm with ya on that one Rosy...Axel to step up and turn the game on its head in 2013!!! :upside

"He should be right", "he's on track"

All sounds familiar. Wouldn't be surprised if he misses most or all of preseason and maybe some games. Hope I'm wrong.

Apparently he was still in a moon boot at the B&F...

Watching the collingwood game, is foley doing mr invisible impersonations?

He really is your favourite player ;D

I would prefer him at the club than your man Colin.
