Nankervis !!

Big nank, gives you a funny kind of feeling don't it?
Yeah I just love him and Soldo as a ruck tandem but Nank did it basically om his own tonight. *smile* still spewing about Soldo's injury.

I'm not sure I'd swap them for any other ruck duo in the AFL. Heart and soul.

Well played Nank. Beat an elite ruckman in Marshall who has dominated us on more than one occasion. Redeemed himself from an insipid performance last week

I have seen him play some good games before, but tonight to dominate the way he did for the whole game was the best I have seen him play - he changed the whole shape of the game which meant we dominated the centre - an area where we were worried was a strength of the saints.
Ratts in the presser looked genuinely shocked being dominated in the clearances

Great game by Nank, he is so important. Did very well in the middle and backed it up in defence.

He is vital to our chances.

Beaten? yeah. insipid, no.
Was huge. Gets around for a big bloke. Just kept appearing where he was needed like a giant Houdini.

Big O was near best on ground. Case closed.

that logic says anyones opponent who gets 3 Brownlow votes, was insipid?

they could have an insipid count on Brownlow night and out the opponents,

and award The Mumford Medal for the leagues least fair and most insipid?

the case is as open as Shapel Corby's boogie board bag

Hope they showed Nank the snippet from the Adelaide game where the commentators were very disrespectful toward him. Would love him to chop BT off at the knees again like he did in that post-match snub two years ago.

Very underrated is Nank. Plenty of oppo supporters still think he’s a spud. Reminding them that they need to call him a dual Premiership Spud usually shuts them up.

Just shows how little opposition supporters know!! Nank is a warrior, gives his all week-in week-out. A ruckman's ruckman.

A big game for Nank against Port, he has had a big work load the last couple of weeks, especially against the Lions.
I hope he has pulled up ok, Lycett and Ladhams will be trying to work him over, like we did to Nic Nat.
I know he will keep working like a bull in springtime, but think he will need to be managed as much as practicable, because we will really need him to finish the game off strongly the last quarter.

Thought Marshall was great early but Nank just got better and better. Can't recall us ever dominating the centre like that - really makes a difference so not sure why we are so dismissive of it

We aren't really dismissive of centre clearances, we are more dismissive of stoppage clearances and set up defensively for the quick rebound. Brodders17 mentioned this the other day on another thread and I pulled the attached.

Last year we were pretty much equal with centre clearance differential, this year has got a bit worse, but remember we dominated Brisbane in Q1 from centre bounces too, so it wasn't just a one-off against the Saints. We have or best centre clearance mids back in.

Ladhams is up and coming ruck spends time forward while Lycett isnt great around the ground.I would say in our forward half maybe Lynch can give him a chop out to.
