Nankervis !!

We have a side of really hard bodied, tough, physical players, with a smattering of silk and class around the out skirts.

It's our bullocking, hard nosed, never give up style that keeps our gameplan together.

Graham, Kamdyn and Caddy (when in form) are instrumental in bringing this together.

Rumour has it, that in the horse stables, Phar Lap was known to say "Has a heart as big as Nankervis".
Nankervis is the Captain of Crunch. We are a better side in the middle and around the ground with him in it.

Soldo and Nank are a great combination. Best in the league.

Really good to have him back in the side, but even better that he worked well in tandem with Soldo.

We’re a better team with nank in it.... much better... hard as nails, a clearance beast that can ruck and nullify majority of oppo rucks...

ppl earlier in season said he was dead, gone..... I laughed.......

Last week on the couch, talking about tigers players to come back in and when Nick Riewoldt mentioned Nank, Gary Lyon says not sure if he'll get back in, he's their 2nd ruck. WTF I said to myself nankervis will be straight back in when fit. And once fully fit we go back to being our No 1 ruck with Soldo riding shotgun.

Nankervis secure? I'm not sure after that performance.
Still not sold on two specialist rucks.
I understand Mabs has some flaws but he definitely offers a different dynamic..
It's not clear cut yet IMO.

We don't need him.
Chol at least opens up the play

Nank 2nd up after injury, got enough credits in bank to carry on. He will smash the Cats
I couldn't agree with you anymore. Most players struggle 2nd game back after injury. Will be cherry ripe come finals.

I see he had one possession last night; a kick. Please tell me it wasn't the one he kicked into Aarts on the goal line in the first quarter :mhihi

Yeah he had a shocker last night but he'll be right as he gets match fit. He's our number one ruckman.

I thought Sean Darcy was excellent last night.
He’s a big unit at 113kegs and used it to continually out position our rucks.
Where we usually sacrifice leap to maintain position to help in the clearance of dirty ball, he totally took that away from us.
Great stoppage work by the Dockers, and it showed in the numbers.

Not the best game, but as a few have said, second game back after injury.

If we ever need evidence that 1 ruck works, look at a few of the games earlier this year when we had all sorts of players going into the ruck for short stints: Lynch, Kamdyn etc. Did not work, as simple as that.

He's a quality young ruck, RC. And as you note, there's a lot of him, very hard to shift.

Wasn’t great last night.. but not many were.

Still most at ease with the soldo/nank combo over any others.

Championship winning combo as when on they both physically combine to bash the opposition rucks out of it.

No stress re last outing will see what the MC go with against the Cats depending on who the Cats are likely to go with.
