Milestone games have never invoked passion or effort from RFC, why are port able to do that?

We seem to do better when playing a team with a milestone game. SOS's 300th and Sheedy's last game in Melb are two that spring to mind.

The win against Port in the rain in 2010 was some sort of milestone for them too. 100 years or something like that.

Hardwick needs to have the team up early to quell the Cornes factor. A repeat of last week's first term or anything like last year's EF and we will be in all sorts of trouble.
Can't let Port get their tails up whatsoever. We've got to be ready to play from the opening bounce. Weather the storm and we'll be a chance, otherwise forget it.

That was what I thought too. Need to be at it right from the start. They're going to throw everything at us early.

If we lock down on them in the centre and limit our turnovers coming out of the back half I give us some chance . Also need to capitalise on inside 50s with scoreboard pressure . What I don't want to hear post match from Dimma is we couldn't get the game on our terms !!

Or that we didn't come to play.

Our first quarters have been poor. Very poor.

If we are to have any chance we need to start well, stifle their confidence and keep the crowd quiet.

bang on the money

We tore them apart or more likely made them 'kiss the dirt'.....the usage of this song is becoming cringeworthy by the week. At least write your own.

Agreed mate, it's pathetic the way they carry on! Anyway, mission accomplished!

Mappa his winning % to date is 56% and he is only in his 3rd season Hardwick's winning % at that stage was 37% His finals winning % is 60% to Hardwick's 0%.

Your loyalty to Hardwick is admirable but lets start crowing when we beat them on the weekend.

Mappa we can all crow now, an ugly win is better than a pretty loss at this stage of the year.
