Let's forget all the negative stuff for a moment - if we win this week you'd have to say we're back in contention.

I reckon we should go with a tall, mobile forward line.

Launch from half back. Get cover back there.

Let Jack and Tyrone push high and provide get outs on the wing.

Overlap. Long, penetrating kicks. Martin, Deledio and the Ellis brothers delivering to Liam McBean leading from the square.

No press. Just good, hard footy into space. Kryptonite to Port Adelaide.

If we setup the usual way we will get smashed.

Good to see you wanting us to win this week Carts ;D
Hopefully Shed is available, Port will have had the riot act read to them, but we owe them a beating, a huge game for both sides.

Port's hallmark over Hinkley's first two seasons has been their ability to run out games. This season they've been one of the worst in that regard. Will be interesting to see which Port shows up.

A good first step would be to try and find a way to have Cotchin distracted at the coin toss, so that someone else can decide which end to kick to if we win the toss.

Owe them for the EF humiliation last year.

Port vulnerable.
Not finishing games well.

Have started well in games and we have been very very poor.

Need to shut their game from the start.

Open forward line. The game we played against the Pies in the second quarter would be a good start!

Port would be smarting at the season they have had , full house ,smashed in the media.

Win this game and the season might be back on track. The only change I would make is if Edwards is ok as he is such an important player he comes in for the first gamer Menadue.

Which Tigers turn up to play as this game will be hot from the start.

Port have only won 12 of their last 24. Besides a great
start last year they have become middle of the road . They
are ripe for the taking.

Surely that can't be right...........don't they have super coach coaching them, the man who knows everything, one of the greats of the coaching fraternity

I classified Sundays win as season defining. This will help answer what multiple media folk are asking. Who / what is the Richmond of 2015? To be a chance we will need to eradicate the slow starts, the bad kicking/turnovers, convert our better than 50/50 shots at goal and not let Port play the game at their tempo. Easier said than done.

Wines injury has left a big hole in their midfield. With Cotch and Miles in form, I think we're a good chance to win the contested ball.
From the opening bounce, we must hunt them like no tomorrow and obviously must convert our chances early.

Kick WITH the wind :cutelaugh

wind is forecast to be a northerly on sunday - the same direction as last years prelim

won't be as strong as last year but still worth a couple of goals

Pretty sure Wines is back this week.

Port will have got the rounds of the kitchen both internally and in the Adelaide press.

They will be pumped up. Cornes' 300th and retirement will only add to it.

Good test to see whether last week against Collingwood was the start of something or merely a one off.
