Mid season Draft

I like him but wouldnt take him, we have Vlastuin, Broad, Brown and Trezise playing similar roles. Do we really need another medium size defender?
Gibcus Brown Tresize.
Gibbo the more similar position as an interceoting defender.
We dont need a Mutaz to wait in line at #4.
But if we play the numbers and think he is most likely to make it, then we pick him.
Personally I agree with you

The good news is he's only 22. SKevs, Maffra, South Mildura (home of the Tarrants). He's been around.
Nice profile. Got a 20m for him? ;D

Would you take him?

Sam's 22 - theres another Sam Davidson who is 25
Thanks, tony. I could only find the GC/SA one. Got any other info on him?

And 22yo puts him right in the frame, I reckon.

no didn't see him.

sam clohesy GC is an interesting case study - was always under their nose - played for Coolangatta and was in their Academy for years.

he always had the attributes hes showing - fast, tank, rugged, goal kicker.

but he had to win the VFL rising star to get a shot.

as an aside, the Cats Cat B'd his younger brother Ted, because his mum once ate a Bunny Chow at a Johburg township-themed restaurant.

on farces, Brisbane knocked back by the AFL to draft their own player development officer Jake Lloyd MSD.

Begs the question, Why would Brisbane want a retired 32yo small forward, when there's 3 dozen 20yo's who will offer more for a dozen years longer.

which brings us back to the notion of 6 month, $50K deals,

in the context of $1b broadcasting deal, its a version of Black Birding.

The most incompetent, lowly, dumbest, laziest Old Xav in AFL house, someones backward drug addled nephew, would be on a secret twice that.

one is a gladiator; a gloriously devoted professional athlete,

the other slinks like Golum between texting porn in the photocopier room, to doing lines in the dunny.

not an original tale unfortunately.
Mmmmm. Bunny chow.

Let's be realistic. Mid-season draft is slim pickings. Out of 14 last year, only 3 have played this year, 7 games, 2 games & 1 game. Of course, don't lose anything if contract is just to the end of the year, may just get the 1 diamond in the rough.
We can be realistic but we don't need to be frugal.
Its a minimal cost swing.

1. WE have the list spots. I'd put Fawcett on the LTIL too and give him long term recovery /S&C. Notwithstanding Fawcett we have 2 spots.
2.Salary cap it probs evens out, the match payments that Dow doesnt get is the MSD wage.
3. This season they will def play and we get a look at them.
4. A diamond in the rough is still a hard shiny nut. If we get one its a win.

Bauer and Coulthard and Pickett.
3 more like that would help.

Realistic but ambitious.

My take on the RFC is we don't draft Davidson yet. Give him 2 years in the rookie league to develop and grow.
We confirm if he's coachable.
Then we draft him.
If we lose him to another club, and it happens, then cest the vie.

The little I've seen of him I'd take him. Fast great runner, good skills, good size and seems to read the game well. Could see him stepping up

No time here. Here no time. But he moves well.

I'd think about taking him with a second pick. I'm all for the Howes boy from South Adelaide.
Another Noah. Does 3 Noah's qualify as an ark?
An ark of Noahs, as the collective noun.

I hear Essendon are interested in Davidson.:cautious:
There should be some formal way to lock in players you want/might recruit in the med-long term so other clubs can't grab him. If it's true we want Mutaz it seems silly that the club is exaggerating about his injury just to take him out of the spotlight.

Vloss and Broad don't have many years left. Mutaz is the Aliir Aliir we need.

if we could of had three of them aboard at the Gabba elim final, we'd have won the 22 Flag.
