Melee!

The second part erupted due to inept umpiring. When Didak (I think) played on from the free kick and was ran down the umpire didn't pay holding the ball as he was caught up in the moment, starstruck fools, players emotions again spill over & it's back on.

Agree completely Stu. Not enough has been made of that in the media.

I agree with this too.
Couldn't believe Maxwell on the Ch 7 footy show having a whinge about the actions of the Richmond players.
King should have got a free for dispossessing Didak, but didn't, instead 3 Magpie players jump on top of King and it all kicks off again.

The best part of that melee was Hislop rag dolling Maxwell. Maxwell had a look on his face like he just pumped the next door neighbours cat and got caught doing it!!!

He had to have some excuse for being made look like a whimp. Tough when no one sees him coming, but not so brave when confronted by someone he thinks might hit back.

Saw Didak have a couple of *smile* slaps at Tuck, Tuck just walked away, was hoping he woud think it was Campbell and at least let him know that riding with Hells Angels doesn't make him tough.

love what kingy did. ur losing badly the game what else can u do. show some hatred towards whats happening on the scoreboard and to the opposition. get stuck into that little pretty boy prancing didak. maxwell mr tough guy fearless leader, shiyte his daks. then to save some face says its not right for them to be acting in that agressive manner when they are losing a game. stand up mr tough guy......gee i dislike the wobbles!!!

posted this on another thread i started. who were the main participants in the melee. you could easily guess.......

Is that who it was - I was disgusted - not only was Lids hair pulled, it was whilst he was in a headlock.

That got me fired up.

Pulling hair - Cat act

Have a look at Peter "Woosha" Welch do a little bit of hair-pulling (Woolnough) during the 1980 Grand Final.

If you wanna grow your hair long, expect it to be pulled.

If you wanna pull hair, expect a scratch across your face.

The thing that irks me most is that Collingwood aren't that good.

Teams like Geelong and the Saints will have Captain Courageous' little whinge pinned up in the lockers and will invite him for a cup of tea if they meet in the finals..

Will see how Collingwood handle the finals pressure if they thought it was unfair to target a few of their prima donna's. Unfortunately that about where it ended for us.

hmm in a real fight a bloke with a big mop of hair is easy meat. its simple control the head you control the body. in other words grab a handful in one hand and bash the living bejeezus out of him with the other, mark my words a very effective ploy.

if it becomes a real dog eat dog fight eyes nuts and knees are all good target areas. you cant fight with your nuts in your mouth you cant stand up with your knee stuffed and you certainly cant hurt anyone if you cant see.
You'd know, ya knees are shot, you wear glasses and your always adjusting the one nut you've got left!

I am not convinced that the Aints are that good either though despite their fine run.

I have a horrible feeling in my guts that the Pies are about to pinch a flag.

I doubt the pies can with stand the Cats or Saints pressure.

I think Lyon has really added some steel to the Aints line up.

Wonder if the Bombers faithful are still calling for Knighters head today.

be interesting if anything comes of it all. prob a few fines. i wonder if the 4pies who piled on to king to start it all will get fined.

Yeah well I guess we'll see. I think Malthouse also has the Pies drilled on that front as well as anyone(much as I hate it).
