Fag quest? Now it's becoming clear as to why Ross packed his bags.

lol, classic. I had to read that twice. :hihi

Some sort of in-house by-play going on at The Age:

It has now been fixed up in the on-line article, but in the original paper copy, Robert Murphy's article today is headlined Robert Harvey with a photo of Murphy.

Then there is a footnote to the article:

Robert Harvey did not write this column nor was he selected on the half-back flank in the All-Australian team this week.

I think it was Channel Ten the other night had a list of the highest number of spoils in a game and about number 5 on the list was Grimes (Melb) v Hawthorn round 3 2011.

I can't remember who he was talking about but Mark Allen said on SEN the other day that the person in question had the opportunity to become "an immortal for the rest of his life".

From the Herald Sun today:

Mick Malthouse is trying nor to think about the fact tomorrow could be his last day as coach of Collingwood.
After 12 years and 662 games in charge of the Magpies, it will be all over if his side fails to beat Hawthorn in tomorrow night's preliminary final at the MCG.

662 games in charge of the Magpies? Has he been coaching them three times per game?! :hihi

Anyone see this ripper in the HS yesterday?

Former Test cricketer Simon O'Donnell is pushing a surprise candidate for the Saints coaching job: Danny "Spud" Frawley.

O'Donnell tweeted yesterday: "Been thinking about Saints coaching job, Spud Frawley for me. Richmond crucified him and good to see some Saints emotion back in their play."

Christ, the bloke left our list in a state of absolute shambles! Plus he was allowed to see out his term after tendering his resignation following Round 13, on the way to a 14-game losing farewell to the coaching ranks - the first Tiger coach in living memory not to exit via the sack! If we "crucified" Frawley, what did he do to us?

Stick to cricket, Simon.

Didn't he also get a contract extension? I think the crucifiction was the other way around Simon ::)
