McMahon for McGuire?

The saints have been patient with the likes of Gardiner. If they want to give up McGuire then he's broken and can't be fixed.
Cannot believe ppl are even entertaining the idea of picking up more injured hacks. Will we ever bloody learn ??? Mcmahon for draft picks!! DRAFT PICKS, nothing else. Unless we can trade Mcmahon for a Roughead or Rioli i don't want to know about it. FFS!!!!!! 
cmon people we have plenty that need to go. i have no problem with a player for player trade in an attempt to fix up some structural problems. if it fails it fails nothing lost. we go into the draft and utilise picks 3 20 36 52 68 on youth. we trade into a pick if possible between say 35 and 50. we use that on youth. thats 6 kids utilese 3 rookie picks and you have 9 new kids.
unfortunately we are not in the position where we can just target kids we need to clean out failures at our club we need to get some big bodies around our kids we need to address list deficiencies both in the short term and more importantly long term.
nothing wrong with player for player deals in an attempt to address list deficiencies.
how many mcmahon types do we have whats that i hear heaps. how many like macguire do we have big 100kg defenders well worth the punt imo nothing lost if it fails.

Craw, you just completely discredited yourself. You moan and groan about the need to play and target youth and then support a potential trade that involves one useless hack for an injury prone 30yo. No wonder no one takes you seriously. Consistency son, consistency.

the real trouble is theres no help for the kids no big bodies no guidance. we play rance in the backline and hes the biggest unit we have got down there and hes badly undersized atm himself. that is not the way. we play vickery in the ruck hes 20kg under weight and is an injury waiting to happen. wheres the mature leader simmond you are joking. the seniors we have are no good are terribly deficient and have never lead or given guidance to our kids they never stand up for them we need to change this.theres throwing kids in the deep end and theres then throwing them of the cliff to land all splattered and bloody.
the list is as such that we have to do both we target areas where our kids need help and do something about it. remember im still pushing for 9 new kids to come into the system. with 2 or 3 decent recycled players who can offer something on top.
Have to think Maguire is close to finished..... We might as well just keep Sylvester if that's the case.....
Ideal trade would prob. be something like McMahon & our 3rd round pick (mid 30's pick) for St.Kilda's 1st round (pick 17)..... We will have a big gap in our salary cap. & St. Kilda would be very tight with salary cap, so we pay most of McMahon's pay.....
Use pick 17 on the best available KPP in the draft......

i agree but if st kilda refused to offer up any draft picks, only goose, then we would have to take it.
