Definitely was the senior Scotch team.
Will be a tackling machine like his Daddy. ;)
He looks more like Willie than Cyril or Daniel.

Thanks Skull5 it is definitely the 1sts as you have pointed out. Found results of two recent games where he kick 2 and 3 goals respectively. Whilst never named in the bests he is 15, (16 in September), playing against older boys.

At that age gap with physically developing teens, we shouldn't be expecting him to be prominent among the better players. Showing a fair bit by regularly making the senior team at this stage, pops up n contributes is all one would hope for at the moment.

looking like he has grown a bit since last pictures posted, roughly 175cm-177cm now from pics i have seen

Appears to have a fair rump on him for such a young fella. Built more like Cyril than Daniel??

Leysy would be happy, likes his big arsed footballers.

;D

thought exactly the same.

The old man had a decent engine room.

love the :afro too

Went to Scotch College yesterday and had my 1st live look at Maurice Jnr. Only had about 3 handballs 3 kicks and maybe 5 tackles, one good bit of roving but missed goal. Would be unfair of me to knock him on anything given he is still only 15 playing against more mature bodies. Hope he grows a few extra centimeters he looks pretty short. His coach praised him at 3/4 time saying "well done Maurice you worked your butt off out there, your building" Referring to a multiple tackle effort in the 3rd quarter but more of an encouragement speech for the young fella i reckon.
Will be awhile before we know what we have.

Good to hear that caeser, my nephew is the runner for the senior Scotch team and the feedback is that young Mo jnr is a very popular and likeable kid.

How tall would you say he is , I seen 1 picture where he looks like he is about 174cm-177cm nearly Daniels height

I went out to the 3/4 time huddle and got as close as I could, hard to gauge height but safe to say he was one of the shortest out there, reckon he is closer to 170cm minus the Fro. Can't really see him getting too far beyond his old man's height of 176cm, the early photo's of Junior had him looking quite lean and athletic where as now he seems to be growing out and nuggety, like his old man, rather than up.

Definitely nuggeting up from the recent pics. Perhaps has found the Uber Eats app since moving to the big smoke?

Hope he hasn't been taking dietary advice from Relton Roberts

A lot of the kids I teach shoot up from the 170's in year 10 to the 190's in year 12.

Probably shouldn't try to count a Rioli before he's hatched.

The big thing for me is that the Indigenous lads who go into the private school system Melbourne don't have the culture shock that others do. And more importantly the weather doesn't get to them in year 1. Great grounding for him at Scotch. I'd be curious to know the story of how he got there.

Didn't Willie have a weight problem? He's a gun now for West Coast.

I didn't say Maurice had a weight problem I just commented that his body shape seems to be morphing into something resembling his old man.

The APS system is run like a slightly more competitive version of the TAC Cup. Coaching is really good and the standard is really high. And during the APS season all the TAC Cupgo back to school footy so all the best kids are there. MRjnr will get the best grounding ever at Scotch.

One thing is for sure is that this lad is going to get more love from Tiger fans than he could ever imagine i reckon being the son of the Great Maurice.

st pats in Ballarat would have been better for him.
