Matthew Clarke

Clarke's decision to trade out of it looks solid gold right now, scoop. And I'm with you on Goulden. He's a ripper. JUH will furnish into something, I reckon, and The Thilth may get a sense of urgency one day.

Logan McDonald is interesting. Has elite groundball winning and use. Against smalls. Does amazing things at ground level. Lawn height contested stuff in heavy traffic. His overhead work is mediocre at best but he's improving. It's possible he's an elite CHB.

Campbell can finally get a kick. Treats rucks with contempt in aerial contests. (Rightly.) Aerialist learning ground game.

Grainger-Barras stands out even in that draft. Can't attack. Can't defend. Has no aerial game. Has no ground game. Short. Can't jump. Slow. Can't think.
I still like Logan, I’m buying stock, lots of it. He’s an elite CHF runner, long Tom Lynch runs BUT one paced. BUT runs all day.

SCG is not his track. Suited to bigger grounds. Could see the Eagles coming hard for him.

Every one knows we stink at the draft.
Seriously getting Tarranto and Hopper and giving away the picks was a no brainer Screenshot_20230501_103525_Samsung Internet.jpg

Gibbus is a tick

A fitter stronger hardened Sonzie and Clarke will also likely be ticks.

Banks and Brown are the ???
I suspect we will see Banks very soon. Bauer is another one. Maybe even this week.

You can't teach 'hardness'
Either the player has balls or he doesn't.
People bagged Bulter for avoiding contact, at least he kicked goals.
Brown will go down as the properly the worse selection he has made.
Banks was injured when we drafted him, he is still injured 2 yrs later.
Gibcus was tracking well and Sony will be fingers crossed ok.
But the damage has been done.
Collier-Dawkins should be replacing Cotchin.
Ellis should be replacing Flappers
Coleman Jones should be our Ottens ruck/foward.
The selection of Higgins in 2018 shouldve been the final draft he was incharge of.
Kids on here select better kids.
*2023 shopping list
*chuck out Teague McQualter new assistants
* A fitness bloke that pushes them to run
* A new recruiting team.
Hartley and Clarke haven't nailed a 1st rounder since Rioli and BigV and that's close to 10yrs now.
And we have had some killer picks to.

I think his position needs to be reviewed. Only Baker, Bolton and Pickett are proven top line players taken since 2017. His Coleman Jones, RCD and Dow picks are really hurting at the moment. Just my opinion but I think we need to do better than this bloke if we want to avoid a long period in the wilderness.

This bloke has ensured we spend the next decade in no man’s land .
Bollocks.
Our ladder position meant we had little to choose from.

Show me all the picks within the next 18 of each player selected that have shown we missed a star. Obviously any father son or academy players are out. I

Ellis x2 Brown??
Even if we had 2 coming through.
He needs to go for missing Oscar Allen
