Matt Coulthard

Perfect sub. Speed and class. (Versus just speed *cough* Hugo)

Will have more of a tank next year, not in 2023.

As others and coaches have said Coulthard already has a tank, GPS numbers through the roof apparently.

Happy to be wrong. Averaging 11 disposals (max 14) across 6 vfl games and got 7 in a little over a quarter at AFL level being the fresh sub. I know that is a very simplistic take. I think Bolton in his first year was really good for about a quarter and a half and then would just disappear - it’s just a different tempo and intensity for longer. Anyway like I said I’m hoping he can do that for four quarters if asked.

Could always sub him off late in the third.

What an impact, run to space, didn’t look rushed.

That’s interesting. Can he hold his skills while fatigued at the elite level? Let’s hope. We are desperate for the type and skill set.

There's not much of him. I said to my Daughter when he came on, gee he's tiny.

But he's an exciting prospect.

If unable to last a whole game was the reason to sub him, we might as well keep doing it for rest of season. Hopefully he can build muscle and tank from pre-season.

Just a simply outstanding quater in your debut to influence a win - incredible young man. Bravo. May we please see alot more of you.
