Lynch !!

Yes definitely something you would say to a mate not in public. Plenty of ammunition for Gold Coast there.

Although refreshing, Rance need's to be trained in the art of *smile*! Needs a filter. He is a senior player and as such should be capable of media speak by now!

I have no problems with it. I think Rance was indicating how much improvement Lynch still has in him and that's a scary thought for opposition teams. As for bagging Gold Coast, they're a soulless basket-case plastic team propped up by the AFL from Day 1. They and the AFL deserve all the criticism they get for introducing them at the expense of some of our grass roots teams.

Rance probably isn’t that popular with supporters from other clubs right now due to the diving dramas last year ,

He has probably just given them more ammunition

Neil Balme wasn't popular either. But loved by team mates.
Nothing new to be hated by opposition. Hope he embraces it

Not only do we pinch Lynch from the Suns, Rance puts the boots into them as well. Could have used his words a bit better.

Rance was kind of defending Gold Coast's players by giving them an out for being so underdeveloped... it's the first positive Vic media comment about Gold Coast in years.

I don't mind Rance's comments, it's pretty common knowledge that the Suns have had a lot of players leave.

The only thing I might get him to add would be something like "but I think Stuey Dew has got them back on track and we will see that improvement over the next 18 months..."

Something like that would soften the initial sledge and put into perspective. But I love the Buddy/Rough call, that's fantastic insight.

But still struggling to comprehend that the day has arrived when Tom Lynch will play in the black and yellow. So excited.

Agree with all that

If it's true that Lynch has improvement in him then we currently have the best key fwd in the game on our list. Like the comments as they are a little outside the "pc line" we get from all & sundry these days, not worried about GCS, they may use that for when they play us but good luck to them on it making a difference.

HS says Lynch is 193cm. Club has him at 199cm. Having seen him at training he is clearly bigger thab Rance, Atsbury, Riewoldt, etc.

Useless journalists. Trash paper.

I pointed out yesterday that our website was wrong and the RFC website had Lynch at 193cm, how dumb for the HS to take that as fact. Obviously RFC corrected overnight.
They still have RCD at only 189cm though???
