Lynch !!

C'mon folks, its all very simple, you just have to look at the incidents:

Nothing to see here, no problem, no need to go to the tribunal.

Straight to the tribunal.

What a mess.

The umpires, christian and the media can all gagf
If the Tribunal doesn’t throw this charge out, I’m done.
Corruption, cheating, match fixing, corrupt arc, mro and umpires and gambling ads. They’ve just about killed the game.
Gill can go *smile* his pole mares and jam his mallet up his arse. And take his overpaid bloated henchmen with him as stableboys.

It's becoming a weak corrupt sport.

Enjoying it less every year.

Like society AFL wants other teams to fill finals spots and not the same ones.

Everyone deserves a ribbon.

I’ve watched the replay a few times and you can see that as soon as Lynch recognised that the Dogs player was cutting across his trajectory he made the decision to turn and brace for what looked like inevitable impact instead of going for the mark.

And because this happened during his run up towards what otherwise would have been a marking attempt he had some real momentum going so the impact on the Dogs player was head height, (Lynch isn’t a short bloke), and would have had the force of a moving car.

So I’m unsure of what Lynch was supposed to do other than ‘pull out of the contest’ once he recognised that the Dogs player had a death wish and was cutting right across his path.

We’ve seen this incident a million times, with the player on the receiving end being called brave, (I call it stupid) after taking the hit.

However on this occasion the player has been knocked out, and concussion is an issue for the AFL so now it’s ‘straight to the tribunal’, meaning he’s already guilty (of the outcome), so it’s just a matter of the sentence length.

If he continued with the marking contest and launched with his knee in the air the dude would have needed a closed casket. And would he have been charged with murder if that happened?

(Not going for hyperbole here just following the AFL’s logic thread)

Lynch had eyes for the ball

Elbow tucked in and it looked like he tried to pull out of the contest at the last minute - there was no malice at all.

What else are you meant to do when a player is running with the flight of the ball, not watching where the ball is going.

I reckon the system is such a farce now that you could be standing on the sideline, faced away watching the crowd, someone runs into you and gets concussed, out son, suspended for dangerous standing.

What a mess when you see Pickett run and jump, turning sideways into the front of a player - wtf is going on.

Edit - I watched the first half replay today an no commentator thought anything of it at the time, nothing, didn’t even notice it.

I'm so angry..

you can understand our dual flag as a player and 3 flag 300 game coach being a bit biased, but 180 degrees completely wrong?

When did they make this decision, 10 minutes after Wide World of Sports finished?

Suspending Lynch when he's already out injured is like lobotomising Michael Christian when he already has a pea brain.

Small edit. Keith wasn’t knocked out and got up and ran off under his own steam.

Great rant. Love it.

Staggered how militant the AFL have become towards us since our dynasty.
They did everything they could to undermine our success.
The image that sticks in my mind is Gill staring at our premiership winning team in 2020 with absolute disgust.
And that weasel Hocking on the boundary when Dimma came down.
The Bachar suspension in 2017.
Still no response or evidence from last year's final goal review.
We were told it would be made public.
The fact that Benny has one hand on the top job convinces me that is why Gill is still sticking around until they get their own man.

Your right, 2020 premiership pissed them.
