Love it when the Lynchman or any others play genuine hard mongrel aggressive contested footy. Don't like it when so many players constantly chip in with the stupid n dirty little punches, elbows n knees regardless of how forceful or not they are.
Thought on first view with the way he's been going this year he might have been in strife for the Prelim n that would have put a serious dent in our flag chances. I'll take the fine with a sigh of relief, but *smile* like that just isn't needed n unfortunately the youngsters see it weekly n think it's just all part of the game so then join in.

For the first (and most likely last) time in my life I went to the reddit AFL page today - beyond feral. Lynch was called a c$&@, genuine f$&@ing c$$@, worst player in the league, other posters were referring to threatening comments etc etc. It was not footy banter, it was disturbed individuals who need to get out from behind the keyboard and seek counselling.
Who knows - the way that they watch and commentate the Tigers at the moment it could have been any time we didn’t politely step out of the way!

I've watched that marking contest back a number of times. Lynch always had eyes for the ball, went up for the mark, Howard jumps to, incidental contact on Lynch but slight push forward (with his body) unbalances Lynch and his arm collects with Patons head. He never once looked at Paton.
Compare that to the "tackle: that Jones attempted on Bakes. Who tackles with a closed fist??? Nothing is said because Bakes doesn't get split open.

You know one of the funniest things I read. When the Hawks were the unsociable Hawks you never saw Buddy or Roughead sniping behind play. I'll give them Roughie, but Buddy???? Seriously??? He played to hurt people, add others like Lewis, that was their game.
I broke my own rule to stay clear of the media this week, right after having made it because I wanted to hear if Robinson was on 3aw at midday and if anyone would challenge him on his garbage cheating tweet.
He wasn't on but I know one thing for sure Tim Lane has become a full on hater..... Matthew Lloyd, believe it or not said he loves us at the moment and the passion we show and particularly how hard Lynch is hitting packs.....!
The one that really had me baffled was the bloke who I believe was charged by police for his on field actions and great player tho he was, and he hit blokes fair and square down the middle when that stuff was acceptable. .... he also kinged his share of players when they least expected it!
