This was classic Baker. Jones belted him with a forearm across the face and Bakes didn’t even react. Geez he’s a tough little bugger.
Tom was playing on his home ground. Probably the first GCS Captain to play a final at Metricon.
Ridiculous. How on earth that’s worthy of anything more than probably a free kick on the night is beyond me.
Did something I normally don’t do, read the comments on FB , lol ffs flogs saying he should get life, 3 weeks, worst bloke in AFL, hope he gets injured and how protected the RFC is

Remind me again why Lynch should be hung, drawn and quartered for a little hello from his knee.
I don't like that he does this but I reckon the media beat-up is far more offensive, especially when a heap of other incidents are just ignored.
Look at the response to Dixon elbowing the Hawthorn player, most of the response was how they loved seeing him with his jumper off (who ever said there is no homo-eroticism in footy, of all codes?).
Maybe we should just respond the way the media does when one of the players they like does something like this: ooh he's tough, just what he does, great to see the game played on the edge etc ad nauseum.
Yet again the MRO has their agenda set by the media's faux outrage. Bunch of amateurs at the AFL being led on by a bunch of numpties in the media.

Let's not forget Nat Fyfe. Weekly elbows to opposition players heads, quite often directly in front of the maggots and not one tint little bit of criticism.I can understand people saying he should pull his head in because he's been so much under the microscope, but he's been no worse, and probably a lot better than some other players such as Mummy, Hawkins & Dixon, yet these guys are often lauded for their hardness or toughness. And there are plenty of other snipers out there that fly under the radar too.
Lynch is the media's poster boy for thuggery stories. It helps selling papers or with click bait.

I almost fell out of my chair when McLachlan asked "does Cotchin have anything to worry about?". If we start fining or suspending for high tackles we may as well play basketball.
$750 fine on an early plea - reckon he should appeal as its not clear whether the saints player brought him to ground - worst result is the fine jumps to $1250.
