Waiting for the flashing light from 7 to let em know Tim Watsons up next!
Yes, waiting for WhispyBrain's sport report. When this incident was first reported on same, he made sure it was edited to cut out any of Hurley's hits to Lynch's hands. Funny about that.
Watson, pretends to be a good bloke. Huge flog.
Hey, Whispy, have you found and returned Jabe's cheat brownlow yet? Surely not saving for a spot auction when your star media career is over? (He also called for at least a week's suspension for the Collins fake outrage).

Justice - now Christian needs a kick in the arse from AFL as does Ralph, Cleary and Brown for trying to hang Lynch by media.

Ralph should never be welcome to the club ever again.
He was the first to start it.

Another thing.

Any time you hear things like "it is open to conclude" with no direct evidence, you are clutching at straws, as Gleeson QC was.

That language is used when defending a case, not prosecuting one.

The MRO has stitched the AFL one up an absolute beauty here. Christian bowed to public pressure, and the 'accumulation' of incidents (even though totally irrelevant) and the AFL were tasked with trying to polish a *smile*. If Christian wanted to rub him out, he should have referred the Witherden incident to the tribunal.

For a slightly different take on things...

I reckon the AFL was intent on sending a message to Tom, nothing more.

To be fair, he's been walking a fine line.

The Witherden incident was not a good look. Whatever we thought of Collins' behaviour in the lead up to last week's matter, Tom was again caught whacking a bloke.

This was probably the least reportable of all three, but it presented a chance to give Tom pause for reflection.

He would have been a little uncomfortable during the past 15 minutes.

Good result all 'round, I reckon.

hang on hang on....aren't we forgetting this bloke??

@matthewlloyd18 believes Tom Lynch's strike on Michael Hurley should be investigated, but the other panellists believe there isn't much in it.

The media and Christiansen will now scrutinise Lynch’s every move for the rest of the season hoping for dear life he gives them reason to revisit this. His reputation has been besmirched and should be offered an apology by those you led the witch-hunt

What a complete #%^* show the AFL is. Any idiot can run a billion dollar passion brand - these clowns prove it every week.

The MRP system is wrong. Lynch referred to the tribunal for repeated offences. Yet the chairman of the tribunal said past offences should not be considered, the jury can only look at the facts of this incident.

So why have a referral for past offences at all?

Further proof the management of the game is in disarray.......

Hocking: “I want him dead, i want his house burnt to the ground i want to go to his house and *smile* on his ashes“

Balme : “You wanna get the AFL! Here's how you get them. He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue! That's the Richmond way!’

Hardwick: “Never stop fighting till the fight is done!”

Gale: “Isn't that just like a Hocking...brings a knife to a gunfight. Get outta here ya Geelong bastard!"

maybe, just maybe, they now might lay off the bloke a little.
be nice to think the wave of mutilation has finally crashed ...

Justice prevails but still can't believe they deliberated for that long, it was a soft push to the neck.
