Lynch !!

Yep - this will get off at the Tribunal. Other fines were a joke too, especially Vlaustin’s was going back with the flight to take a Mark & opponent put his arm in. It was dangerous & hence 50 metre penalty.

Tom pushed Witherdens head into the ground with a tiny bit of force, Good old Charlie did it with an elbow/forearm and a great deal of force, but that's just "Charlie"

What a crock of stuff
Not sure you have noticed TT33, and I am coming from a fair way back here if anyone else has pointed out. But was looking for the chance to point out - I have looked closely at the head-tap on Witherden from a couple of angles. His head never hits the ground. It bumps into his own forearms so softer contact.
It's been exaggerated for 'brutality' - not that I reckon Tom should have done it.

Time to come home.
Enough of this cheating garbage.
Pack up . Leave the hub and head home.
They can have their phony comp.
All players to head home for personal reasons.
Walk away from a rigged comp.

I understand where you’re coming from mate.

But f@*k that.

I wasn’t planning on going down the Coast on Thurs night, circumstances dictated I couldn’t.

But these latest charges against my Tigers have me steamed up beyond words.

Tickets now booked, stuff the consequences, I’m going down to show my team I’m in their corner and back them to the hilt.

We are Richmond, do your best to un-settle us, but we will come out on top despite everyone’s attempts to destabilise us.

I really feel sorry for him on this one. I think he has genuinely just made contact higher than he intended because Hurley dipped.

I could understand fining him again given the situation he has created for himself, but going straight to the tribunal should be for serious matters.
Yep.
We have 3 *smile* umpires on the ground as well but none of them are willing to pay off the ball frees against defenders not even looking at the ball. Not within 5 metres - illegal block.

A moment before Lynch lashes at Hurley, the bearded buffoon takes a whack at our man's hand.

Will this be another instance of the retaliator getting on the wrong side of the tribunal?

Or will Lynch successfully argue provocation?
I hope he can get off, but that should also get Hurley charged. That might make his opponents realise that if they infringe in him they’re risking suspension as well.

A very deliberate attack on Lynch and RFC...make no mistake.
Times have changed.
Media and SM used for a deliberate result.
Targeted attack on Lynch and us.

If there’s footage of Hurley targeting Lynch’s hand, then show it and have him charged as well.
Yes there is footage of Hurley having a swing, but I think he might've mistaken Lynch as a taxi driver.

(E) MULTIPLE LOW-LEVEL CLASSIFIABLE OFFENCES Where a Player commits multiple low-level Classifiable Offences in a single AFL season, each of which attracting a sanction of a fine (as per the table in section 3.1(b)), that sanction (and sanction following an early guilty plea) for the second, third and subsequent low-level Classifiable Offences will be as follows:

LOW-LEVEL CLASSIFIABLE OFFENCE...... SANCTION....... EARLY GUILTY PLEA
First offence ..... $3000 ..... $2000
Second offence ..... $5000 ...... $3000
Third and subsequent offences ..... $8000 ..... $5000

(F) IMPACT OF A BAD RECORD ON CLASSIFIABLE OFFENCES The sanction for Classifiable Offences will not be automatically increased where a Player has a bad record. However, the MRO has the discretion to directly refer the Player to the Tribunal in their absolute discretion under Regulation 15.12(i)(vi), which includes as a result of a bad record at AFL or State League level. Evidence in relation to the record of a Player can be tendered to the AFL Tribunal without the leave of the Chairman when the charge is directly referred to the Tribunal.

3.2 DIRECT TRIBUNAL OFFENCES (A) WHICH REPORTABLE OFFENCES ARE DIRECT TRIBUNAL OFFENCES? Direct Tribunal Offences are those Reportable Offences (specified in the table below) which are referred by the MRO directly to the Tribunal for determination without grading (i.e. without an assessment of the offence using the Classification Table):

Didn't include the table but the offence appropriate to Lynch is...

Any Classifiable or Fixed Financial Offence which Attracts a Sanction that the MRO Finds Inappropriate

Just heard grimes and vlastuin fined for staging.

lol.

If there wasn't an agenda there'd be at least half a dozen fines from every match.

The club needs to make a stand

Should contest each and every fine or suspension on every occasion now.
Make a point of refusing to accept this...stuff the consequences.

There is footage of Hurley trying to wack Lynch's hand at the start of the Round So Far video here.

We should be making this real clear. That should have been a free to Lynch in the goal square for prohibited contact, but the dumpires are too stupid to see it even when it happens every week. Its a joke.

When did Grimes strike Stringer by the way??

This seems to be the Richmond funded Christmas party for the AFL.

I guess the one thing you can say about the tribunal is that we get to have our say. If Lynch gets a week for that, when Hawkins went to the tribunal and got off for an elbow to the head that was way more intentional it would be ridiculous.
