Hurley was blocking and had his back to the play. So either it's a blocking free or high contact to Hurley. Nothing more.
Unfortunately they will make an example of him. They will give him a week at least.
You only get fined for embarrassing the umpires..... why don't they just do the job they're paid to do!

Also no player except an early plea of guilt fine either. Eg to show guilt. Stuff 'em
Also RFC should come out and say we'll seeing what has transpired with Lynch we now know its ok, to have your back to the play and target the other players arm/hand with a punch as its deemed legal ! Hope Dimma says this and he will be instructed his player to do it since the AFL & the media dont have an issue with Hurley's actions ! And thanks everyone for the clarification on that part of the actions.

Pretty sure there's no loading any more. Each incident must be graded on its own. Repeat fines might result in a bigger fine but I don't think he can be rubbed out for a strike on that incident
will be brought back for some made up ‘exceptional circumstances’ or some rubbish you watch.
