Luke McGuane

Luke will have to do a lot of convincing to get South Port Sharks to have a punt on him after he immortalized himself yesterday when he kicked a "McGuane".

Will never be an AFL bloopers or fails clip done again without that absolute droplet of Richmond/McGuane GOLD front, centre & square featuring. In fact will probably feature in Cricket, Basketball, Cycling, parkour & every other bloopers tape.

Utterly hilarious

I am almost 40 and I SERIOUSLY, AND I MEAN SERIOUSLY, don't think I could've stuffed it up like he did yesterday. Delist now.

im glad he was shown out as. That missed goal at a crucial time exposed him for what he is. The expirement as a forward didn't work. Hope the club trade or delist him. RFC must move on.

That blunder in the 4th quarter just beggars belief, I would not be surprised if he gets investigated for match fixing. Perhaps he had some dough on Freo by +39? I don't remember seeing a more monumental stuff up, unless it was on "Almost Footy Legends".

;D

Lack of composure has been the hallmark of Luke's career. Touchy subject, but I wonder whether there is any form of (legal and safe) product that could help him to execute better under pressure? Kinda like the opposite of caffeine tablets.

Chamomile tea will do all that. Get him on it.

Shame the video's not on Roar Vision. I need to see these 2 blunders again for closer inspection.

The 1st was probably lack of concentration, but the 2nd one was diabolical. Simply fumbled it and dropped like a bar of soap.

The result of the lack of concentration and fumbling was him dropping his next contract like a bar of soap. Gone.

How he managed to stuff those goals up is amazing. Get rid of him, he had his chance as a forward but he showed his useless at that as well. Hope Dimma realises how much of a spud he is.

Yup really unfortunate for him, and us. I think he was getting ready to handball to Titch and got "all crossed up" when Titch did the team thing and decided to shepherd for him. Not an excuse, just an explanation for how he managed to stuff it up. If he had been less aware and had still handballed, Titch would probably have goaled. :-[

At the risk of eliciting howls of outrage, I think the two misses show he was just having one of those days. In both cases, he got the ball and got into the position of what should have been certain goals - that's a positive for a forward. Even Pav fell over in the goalsquare once, IIRC, and Jack's cuz strolled in for a certain one and got tackled in a final.

We were never going to win the Freo game, given the difference in number of scoring shots.

More like just having one of those careers though in Luke's case. I am starting to warm to him staying, more as a mascot though. (and give him one of those full body muscle suits so he can hide those scrawny legs).
