No broken ankle, just damaged ligaments according to the RFC official site. Will be right for preseason :D

Lets just hope this injury report by the club is reliable.

I still remember Foley was apparently meant to be ready for the start of preseason then round 1. :hihi

If true...great news.

You take these things with a mixed grain of salt. However the core fact contained the report, the ankle is not broken, is legitimately very good news. A fractured ankle is potentially a 12 month injury.

Phew ! The kid is a legend he tries just as hard at Coburg as he would at RFC - great character

No one could know not playing Liam would end in his injury.

But the karma bus certainly whacked us by not playing him after the form he's shown. Especially when *smile* is the player ahead of him.

Funny how quickly the Beaner has become a fan favourite without even paying a single game!

FWIW I have seen him play several times and HE IS all he's cracked up to be. Add to the fact he's a Tiger at heart and a nice kid he's definitely going to be popular around Tigerland.

Really glad to hear this news!

I reckon the bad karma came from you questioning the coach Lazy.

As a matter of fact, I reckon your bad karma lost us the game on Saturday. Its possible that when Cotch shanked that kick he was thinking about something that you had once posted.

Same thing could have happened when he got his bruised ankle.

Bloody hell, we would be knocking on the 4 except for you and your bad karma.

Is he still a chance to win the Coleman from his recliner chair?

In all seriousness, would love to know his odds to win the Rising Star next year.
