Let the whining and saltiness begin

Geelong also lost thier "home" final against an interstate side, also from Perth. There must be something in that which creates the whingeing.

It must be the water in Geelong.
It turns people in to massive whingers.

Yeah, but It’s even simpler than that. There’s only TWO grounds in Melbourne. Our home is also shared with Melbourne, Collingwood and Hawthorn. So that’s 11 mcg home games plus 3 away MCG games. There’s your 14 MCG games. It seems so tricky for some people.
Actually this isn't quite true. It's only true if everyone played everyone twice.
Under the current structure (four teams at the G and playing five random (??) teams twice), some rather complex maths would see us average out at 12.94 home-and-away games at the MCG. :)

Using this yrs fixture as a guide, given we play the following teams with no home ground advantage as they host games at the 'G as well - Carl/Coll/Ess/Haw/Melb as well as the whingeing Cats. The only games we get an advantage in are against Norf/Stk/WB & the Interstate Teams, this yr with the full 22 game fixture we only get 6 games where we actually gain an advantage. Plus none of the Vic teams bar Cats train on thier "home" venue which all Interstate teams do so... This is a very overlooked fact.
Once again today we hear a lot of sooking but no solutions suggested for thier "problem"

That’s a good analysis provided without any attempt at sarcasm or abuse.

Well done and thank you .

Just checked it's still open, tweeted him a few hrs ago now about what his solution to our fixture is, much like salty cornes no reply. They just like whingeing to make them feel like less of a rabble i spose

All correct & good analysis except I dont know that the interstate clubs train on their home grounds

WCE are @ Lathlain Park
Freo are , well WGAF where Freo train
Adelaide & Port have their own bases as do GWS & Sydney, not siure about the Qld clubs

He has copped it.
Im not sure, but did he say we should play Geelong Essendon and Carlton away from the G?

Ports fixture
2019 7 out of the last 11 at Adelaide oval
2018 7 out of the last 11 at Adelaide oval
2018 7 out of the last 11 at Adelaide oval. 4 out of the last 5 at the Adelaide oval.
The AFL must do something about this. Where's the EQUALITY???

Send those stars to Cornes and see what he makes of it.

Cornes has no idea.
This stuff wouldn't be called out if Collingwood did the same.
Lloyd ripped both Rockoverthecliff and boak a new one last night.
He Brought up how they lost to us with 5 our best players out and called port an "emotional" football club.
Cornes was silent.

Cornes knows what he's doing. It's a very slow footy news time. He needs to generate page views and listeners for his pay masters. He knows we're the biggest fan base and we are still a bit sensitive about not getting the credit we deserve. He knows the Richmond hate is back. He knows a good Vic vs Rest Of Aus argument gets everyone fired up.

What does he do? Drags up our 7 mcg games in a row and sits back and laughs as everyone piles in. His paymasters are happy, he keeps his job.

He wasn't laughing last night, when lloydy ripped port a new one.
Calling them an emtional based football club.
All i heard from Cornes was the crickets singing on his head.
No one who isnt a Richmond supporter can accept we are the best. And have been over the last 3 years.
Cornes rippped a new one last night calling WC midfield the best in the comp.
Not sure he was watching them late last year.

He's becoming so ho-hum with the continual ramblings at his attempt to have some sort of relevance.
There's a massive switch off factor that at some point will lead to him getting the arse! Hopefully.

Whenever I see a headline beginning with...... "AFL premiership great says..........." l don't even bother opening it!
