Till he gets to this old fellow and they have a conversation about the game, who was good, the score etc.
Then out of no where the bloke says, (can't hear the blokes name) "he better go out and spend some money by putting a full page apology in the Sun on Monday" The reporter responds with "yeah he WAS very critical of you guys during the finals".

The AFL will play the shell game for as many weeks as it can get.
I dont think they plan on having a GF at the moment TBH.
I think they are more concerned about cramming in as many rounds as possible and will move the goal posts etc on a weekly basis if needs be to get the result which I simply think is an arbitrary number of rounds to satisfy the broadcasters.
Lets say 12 rounds for an arbitrary figure to allow for cash flow even if the season is then halted by the Corona BS.
Hence their talk of compressing the season and getting as many games in over as short a time frame as possible.
It wouldnt at akll surprise me should they have a target number of rounds they are trying to get to in order to satisfy the powers that be that they tried their hardest to make their revenue.
