Very promising night and I’m delighted to see a drafted mid show so much poise and class but I’m not calling it yet.

Only 19 years old.
100%. Rushed a little tonight. Once he has experienced the pace a bit more will settle in nicely. 20 disposals from 69% game time was a good effort. And knows how to tackle properly. And can break tackles.

This. Struggling to think of a single draftee in the last five years that has progressed from looking “okay”.
Exactly why I’m keeping the powder dry. He’s a very exciting type but we have a poor record of converting.

Hopefully under Yze that changes. Looked so at home, not rushed.

That’s the first thing they learn , the speed of afl and how much time they have , experience is the teacher , he ll get there , wish I was as confident of a few others
