Yes, Cadds was on radio before the Thursday night game and said his aim was to play VFL in round 3. There will be some interesting forward line combinations at Dimma's disposal during the year, with George not far off either.

Oh how we have missed you.

Apart from his footy ability we miss the lip he gives. He is an antagonist.

Last night we fielded a team of choir boys.

Totally agree Smoko. Love the lip he gives.

x2. Became my favourite player last year. We've missed him big time. Can guarantee that Howe/Langdon etc. wouldn't have been marking freely if Caddy was playing.

I think caddy is the important and missing piece, physical, can clunk it, breaks packs and genuinely worries opposition ave coaches. Missing this extra bit of mongrel

We just have to trust what Burge recommends
Caddy last week said he will be back via the VFL this week. I would think current circumstances might change that.

I’d get him in, however I’m pretty sure they don’t try an over rule Burge

No way he plays this week, will only have his 1st main session this week and has said it will only be a half he plays in VFL this week. Hasn't he had stress of the tibia? to add to the ankle op he had in pre-season, bring him back early and you risk adding another 4 weeks onto his recovery.

Burge don’t let guys play if there not ready. Appears he made the right call with Lynch which was an unpopular one in the opposite way to the decisions he has to make.

Caddy out of the square to provide the medium target to help Lynch will be brought back fairly quickly (maybe 1 or 2 vfl games) now Jackmond is out for nearly 2 months.

Im not buying the 3-4 wk thing with Jack just yet tbh

He will help balance the front half and Lynch will appreciate the extra support.

With an ankle issue hes going to be lacking fitness, and will be working into his match fitness for a few weeks
